Have eventually wi after putting it off as was worried about gaining due to * week BUT have lost 1lb [phew] and am FINALLY into the next stone down:j. Its been a long time coming what with meds & stuff but feel really chuffed at seeing that lower number. Now I only need another lb for my stone so fingers crossed for next week.
GL to all with wi & keep positive whatever the result we WILL get where we want to be no matter how long it takes. I'm all in favour of the scenic route :T
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Pepsi Max is free on both red and green days, I also use it as a buffer for the sweet cravings.

I did very well yesterday - Red day

B - Small bowl of raisin wheats

    L - Two chicken drumsticks

D - Chicken fajitas with mushrooms, onions and salad.

    Snack - Hot pork roll.

The hot pork roll was very naughty but i have paid the price, I've got raging food poisoning. I couldn't keep water down last night but it seems to be better today.

That will teach me for trying to cheat, the idea of food at the moment is enough to set me off again.

Could a kind soul please post the recipe for the Thai Yellow Curry, I am desperate to try this and can't get hold of a back copy of the magazine.
    Thank you

well done takeiteazy - your positive attitude is so good! I was feeling down about my pre-WI wi just now but you're so right - I'll get there eventually (also there's no point worrying about it until proper WI!).

Shelly- sorry to hear about food poisoning. Kind of ruins the whole treating yourself thing!

Hopefulshell07 - don't have the mag. Try googling the recipe and adjusting it to be SW if necessary. Like this one. Just need to find something instead of coconut milk really - maybe a fat reduced coconut milk and less of it would suffice.

Speaking of curries, I made one with nonfat lemon yogurt (dry fry onions, add chilli and curry powder and fry light and fry a little longer, add to yogurt, blend the lot until smooth then add veggies, meat etc) and it turned out really well (though I did overheat the yogurt a little so it didn't look as good as it tasted!).

I had a late-night rye bread meltdown last night:o I had made rye bread in the bread maker - and it was all fresh and yummy - and I scoffed about 4 big slices:o:o:o

Anyway - back on the wagon today.

Evening everyone - I actually got my act together and made the 3 - bean chilli (well actually it was two bean chilli - and the tescos express was doing well to have 2 types!) - despite being v heavy handed with the spices:o it was DELICIOUS - and I may have to help myself to some more.

Just about come in at 15 syns today - not ideal as I'm trying to stick to 10 - but its been one of those days - mainly due to the bare cupboard scenario.

Have a lot of things buzzing round my head at the moment - usually this would lead to me scoffing something (because the slightest problem/issue with anything usually sends me straight to the fridge;)) - but am determined to change

I have been living off Quorn chilli the last 2 weeks am addicted to it. I tell you what's nice, sounds disgusting but is lovely. If you have loads left next day and don't want to use up syns/b allowance on bread for your lunch, heat up the chilli then make a well in the middle and poach an egg actually in the chilli. Ladle it into a bowl, chop the egg to spread it round a bit. Omg it's gorgeous and totally free, totally filling!

The mushy pea curry sounds amazing - will have to try that. We've got a big pan of veggie stew on the go at the mo which I've added some curry powder to. tastes yummy.

Were you on a red day or a green?

On a red day, the tuna would be free and the bread and cheese could be taken as healthy extras (as long as it wasn't too much).

For the caramel shortbread, about a gazillion? It is good to treat yourself once in a while. Although saying that, I ate some french fancies when I was on sw and still managed to lose weight that week, don't panic!
