pinksleepybear wrote: »Hello - this is my second week of SW. Last week didn't go so well, I was ok at home, but I went berserk at work and ate everything I could find. I'm starting from scratch again this week.
Could anyone help me with a question regarding Healthy Extras? I'm not keen on the cheeses listed for HEAs - can I substitute Stilton instead? The calories are similar for both cheeses...
The heA's Are more for calcium than calories stilton and goats cheese must hAve less calcium than cheddar etc. As long as your haveing plenty of milk and yoghurts I'm sure having Stilton as the odd hea would be ok. Just make sure it's 6 syns worth and not more as that's about what hex's are.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Hello!
Feeling gross. Made myself a syn free cooked brekkie this morning and feeling all 'greasy', even though it was all above board according to the books! Mushrooms & and egg fried in fry-lite, some baked beans and some low fat turkey bacon rashers. I know that's all fine in terms of SW but it feels like the opposite of a diet. Convinced I'm going to have put on several pounds in weight next week0 -

I still feel like that sometimes after a really enjoyable syn free dinner I still felt naughty. Especially after a huge plate of syn free fish and chips. Its hard to not feel guilty after eating something yummy when thats what we are used to for years. Dont worry you will still losing weight. If you keep eating healthy meals at the right times your body will get used to it and your metabolism will speed up rather than not eating and your body thinks you are starving and holds onto the fat.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Hullo all.
Went to the Italian restaurant with work people last night. Managed to ignore the bread and the 'shared' appetisers the guys ordered and stuck to pasta dish with feta, sun dried toms, oil and pine nuts. I left just under half of it (big portion of course!) so I hope the damage isn't too bad meal wise. I did however end up drinking 4 glasses of wine, something which I had assumed would be simple to avoid (boss was hour late so we kept ordering wine and it was so nice and I wasn't driving...).
Just goes to show how these calories go on in the first place! I've estimated the whole evening to be around 70 syns. Hope that's neither pessimistic nor optimistic. Hoping that my HEs can suck up some of the oil and cheese! Feel darned annoyed that I drank so much though, especially wine
Hope it doesn't ruin my otherwise good SW week - I woke up at 3am this morning worrying about it and thinking maybe a 13 mile walk* would even things out...Then I woke up properly 3 hours later and lmao. Don't think I'm really at the walking 13 mile stage yet!
*A contestant on Crazy American Biggest Loser did this the day after having her appendix out and being told she wasn't allowed to do anything other than walk!0 -
