She has warned me she can only manage a 2 min jog which is my limit so am really looking forward to it

Started my daughter off running by driving to the top of a long hill (not a a steep one) or a long downhill gradient which was easier as you get the momentum of the downward slope (of course hubby drove me back up to get car!). you can then build on this or run from one lampost to another then walk from one lampost to another, alternating. Helps build up the lungs (called fartlek training).

Hi belfastgirl welcome back :hello: its good youve finally got a good consultant, will she be there for just the 3 weeks? id find out where her class was and try and go to it. I think one of the reasons I did so well the first time I did SW was a fab consultant, She asked similar things to your replacement. She was very motivating, she sent me a wee card after losing each 7lb, I thought it was such a nice touch. Ive been to a few different classes since ive moved and never found anyone as good as her.

Wondered about that myself but thought it might be a bit indelicate to make a move on her in the first class :) if she's in Belfast itself I think I might have a go but it would have to be somewhere I could walk to. I think you're right though, the right person can make a really big difference!

:( hi all, well here i am wandered back to this page again. I was doing ok on SW before christmas but then very, very stupidly decided to take a break just for christmas and well i just cant get back to it. Unfortunately i can't afford to go to class at the moment, and i have no idea where this massive appetite has appeared from :( i just seem to have no control whatsoever. Does anyone have any suggestions how to get out of this mess i'm in? all contributions will be very very gratefullt accepted.
When i say massive appetite i really do mean massive, i'm just about at my wits end now.
Sorry for the rant, hope you are all still doing well.

Hi Olly, sometimes I find when I get this desperately hungry it turns out that I need fluids, so maybe your body is asking for the same. I don't mean to be patronizing, like some diet advice which says 'When you're a bit peckish, have a drink instead' but sometimes you can really be quite seriously dehydrated. Might be worth checking out your fluid intake anyway.

    Good luck

Hey Barmy - sorry you had a gain - but stick with it. Well done for posting:T

Today has been pretty ok food wise - although I had to do a bit of fancy footwork with my meals. Today turned into a Mix2Max day - and they have been discontinued!:rotfl::rotfl:

The cupboards are a bit bare - food shopping on Saturday - and there isn't really enough of anything to have a green or a red day - and there is definately not enough edible superfree food to have an EE day:o

Went to the gymn tonight and felt great - better than I have done in ages. Its probably psychological - but thats good enough for me!

Last night I did really well, which is my difficult time. I used to like a glass of wine or 2 and then I would start on the chocolates, cake etc. So no wine for me.
I stuck to plan and even had my creme egg which I found was 8.5syns (does anyone else feel bad having there syns? I always feel like I shouldn't have them:o)
Last night for Tea we had the mushy pea curry, it was lovely!

Today Green again (I love green )
    Brekkie- weetabix and milk (a+b)
    Dinner- Tuna pasta salad
Tea- SW Chips egg and beans

    Snacks strawberrys,grapes,mugshot.
    £100 - £10,000

Why mushrooms? I can understand the cheese etc Just wondered! :D

Had a pretty darn good red day today though could have done without the Road Rage incident I got caught up in - involved me calling 999, talking to 2 handsome motorway traffic cops & giving a statement at the local station :(

Have to cut the mushrooms as they are fungus. Same as cheese is mould.
It's hard but I'm doing it, hopefully I'll get better! :D

Hope you're ok SK, that sounds frightening xxx

  • Hello lovelies.

Well another 2lb off for me this week, so that's 8.5lb in my first two weeks and my half stone award. Hoping for a good loss this week too.

    Plan for today-

L-Jacket Potato with either LF Cottage cheese or Tuna Mayo or both (4 syns for mayo), satsuma

D-Mushy pea curry, rice, mango chutney (2 syns), pineapple,

Snacks- Skinny latte (HEA), Fibre Plus Bar (HEB), chocolate (5 syns)
