Hi Got weighed to day and stayed the same again thats 2 weeks now with no loss.I am at a loss as to why as I am following EE with no trouble

I muat keep on as after losing 11 1/2 I am now feeling a bit better with myself but I really wanted a good weight loss before we go on holiday in june

Any ideas how to get it moving

please for all losers this week

    Annie

Annie - do you tend to eat a lot of the same thing? I've only just started on SW again, but I lost 2.5 stone on it last year, towards the end my weight loss started to stall, but it was because I was eating a lot of the same food (Ie fruit & yoghurt for brekkie, and poached egg and toast for lunch EVERY day) - I started varying it a bit and lost the last little bit again quite quickly after that!

Yes baked beans are free on green & EE but not on red, although you can have some as a HEB on red not sure how much (142g i think)

Yes you must have your HEA & HEB as they give you you necessary calcium & fibre.

& yes use your syns if not you will get bored.
How you use them is up to you. I have 10 syns everyday at least (sometimes 15) if i have a night out at the weekend i'll cut down to 5 syns & save some for wine.

Good luck with your first week it takes a while to sink in but soon it will become automatic.

Hello! I joined SW last night. Everyone at the group seemed to be losing weight so I'm feeling positive :)

I think the extra easy will suit me best!

Was sound asleep so missed breakfast (I've been on call a lot recently so this is my weekend!) Making some vegetable and chicken risotto for lunch as we speak, no oil or anything involved :D I think a baked potato for tea. Any ideas if baked beans are free? I'm still trying to work it out

Oh, and do you HAVE to eat a HEA and HEB every day? And do you HAVE to have at least 5 syns? Trying to work it all out!

    Hello

To stick to the plan as stated by SW you have to have one HEA and one HEB on Extra Easy per day. And between 5-15 syns :)

    Hope this helps!

p.s. the veg and chicken risotto sounds yummy :j

Sorry joey-lou I typed too slowly and noticed you've answered this already!

I used to swap the bread for crackerbread just for a change, and have it with laughing cow cheese and chicken/ham/tomatoes or whatever. Other than that, maybe salad? Or soup? or both? Or a pasta/meat salad? You could even have a baked potato (HEB) with cheese and fresh chives (HEA).

I'll get my thinking cap on and see if I can come up with any more! - Won't do me any harm to figure out a bit more variety for myself either!! ;)

  • well after getting the recipe yesterday for the soup I decided to have a go at my own with some veg that were left over. I decided to put leek, onion, pepper, courgette, garlic, tin of tomatoes and a few spices. It turned out lovely and all free so everyone enjoyed it today for lunch.

Going to koin a new class tonight but have been following sw since Monday as I already had the books, wish me luck as this is my second time trying sw and I am determined to stick to it this time.

Any ideas what I can have with my fresh pineapple to stop the tongue burn? Had a muller after it last night and that was just as bad, I don't want to waste a free food :rotfl:

Am looking forward to going back to work next week so will get back to eating at regular times, its half 3 and I still haven't had lunch and not really hungry :o.

That Thai Yellow curry sounds interesting, hopefully some kind person will post the recipe soon [pretty please].
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
