Is frying eggs with frylight syn free?
Have been chopping up veg e.g. potato, sweetpotato, parsnips into biggish pieces, spraying with frylight and baking in the oven. Is this free on green days.?
Yesterday bought a fresh Swede for the first time. Was having heck of a job hacking away at it. Eventually chopped it up and some of it resembled chips. Sprayed with frylight and baked and were delicious.
Yes its still free. Frylite is totally free, so even if you smother your eggs in frylite its still free.
Your root veg chips sound yummy and are also free on green and EE, so enjoy.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Oh dear well 1lb on last night although not really a surprise after the weekend I had. I'm determined to get to my first stone award by next week so that's 2.5lb to lose - I think that's doable though because I know I'm retaining some fluid at the minute.
Can I ask what happens at other people's meetings? Last night our consultant decided not to go through all of the weight loss/gains (obviously a relief for me!!) and just talk about issues people are considering. But...how to say this nicely...her answer to almost everything is mugshots. Which I would not put into my body in a fit. There was a major discussion on which potnoodles are SW friendly and the fact that those pasta and sauce mixes are great. I was finding myself getting increasingly irritated because I really genuinely thought SW was about eating healthily and as far as I can tell these things are c**p. Starting to worry SW somehow profits from sales of some of this stuff? Anyone else experiencing this? It was bad enough that I could see a lot of the older members feeling sort of the same as me. But worse that younger members were clearly taking notes on how mugshots are the answer to weightloss...
I have been aware of this for a while but I think moving to an open discussion just made it all worse. It seems so far from the SW philosophy according to the books etc.
Will be really interested to hear how others are finding this aspect of SW...0 -
Today feels like a bad day.
Firstly I am studying to be an accountant and failed my first exam, although it was expected but still came as a bit of a shock as in the back of mind i thought i would pass.
Secondly i have an infected finger and it really hurts.
They say things come in 3's, i hope the 3rd was me not winning the lottery last night, rather than me not loosing any weight on my first weigh in.
I wonder whether i will loose any weight with me being pregnant or will i just not put on.
Menu today:
B: Mullerlight and Banana
S: Apple and 2 satsuma
L: Jacket Potato, Beans and Cheese.
T: ? may be takeaway after weigh in!Started slimming world 4th November 2010

0.5lb off, not so pleased, but understandable as I had that huge cheese savory sandwich and chips, and then a few oreos on monday, and maybe have eaten too much stodgy free food, rather than superfree. So going to try and have soup for either lunch or dinner all this week to just make sure I'm not overeating.
I'm off to London this evening so no point in making a big pot of HM soup, so bought a fresh soup in sainsbury's, (own make) carrot and coriander, and it works out as 5.5 syns for a full 600g pot, or 2.5/3 syns for a half, which isn't too bad, so I'll be having that for lunch with some cottage cheese.
I've still got 5lbs of christmas weight on, it's really annoying me, I need it off my body! Shame how things don't tend to come off as fast as they went on ey...0lbs/18lbs to get to club 100 -
First weigh in last night - lost 3.5lbs!! I'm so chuffed, I thought I'd lost a couple (cheeky weigh ins in the week
) but never thought it'd be that much! I joined at the same time as another lady who lost 6.5lbs in her first week!!
At Image Therapy our Consultant went through the weight losses/gains (more losses than gains I'm happy to report!), then we discussed visualisation of our goals.
I went home and had a home-made Syn free curry and rice! Hubby was pleased for me as well, so a good day!
I've found that planning meals in advance really helps, then I can make sure I'm getting enough superfree's in!Slimming World member - started 13 January 2010Starting weight: 11st 4.5lbs :eek:/ Current weight 11stMini Goal 1: 10st 11.5lbs (1/2 stone)10% Goal: 10st 2.5lbsMini Goal 2: 9st 9.5lbsGoal weight: 9st / 2.5lbs to MG1!0
