Hi all, I am new to slimming world and am struggling with Syns and free food!! I'm sure I will get used to it!
I have just eating 4 jacobs crackers and 1 tesco light choices cheese triangle. Can I take the cheese from my HEA if I have already used the milk?
Anybody know how many Syns cream crackers are?
Any tips for savioury snacks for evening munchies! worst time of the day for me:eek:
Cream Crackers, each 1½ syns! As far as the extra light cheese triangles, you are not really allowed to mix your A's but I have spoken to the SW fairy and she is prepared to let it pass this time!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have you tried making some of the quiches that Consultant put up here the other day - or even the big bowl of jelly and yogurt whisked together is good for nibbling on and very filling! I suppose you could even make my breakfast rice - that will leave you far too stuffed to eat anthing else!

Mmmmm I just had the yummiest tea. I had pizza craving so I had pizza and chips.
I used half a Napolina pizza base (=75g) which is 11syns, topped with HM syn free pizza topping, fresh veg like tomatoes and peppers and cheese (1 x HEA). And made SW chips to go with itit was so yummy and really hit the spot.
I've not had any other syns today so I could allow the 11 for the base.

Thanks Marion. Have the ww for my lunch tomorrow. I'm sure I will get used to SW was used to WW but need to eat more :rotfl:0 -
WI today and only 1lb off for week 2. Better off than on though I think.
As an old fashioned Original and Green day girl I think I may not be judging EE quite as well as I should. As him indoors works away I can't get to a class so am just using my old SW books and buying the mags for guidance so that could be part of the reason for struggling a bit too. Finding this forum really useful and supportive though - thanks everyone.
Re good veggie recipes, there are 2 great ones in the Jan/Feb mag - Homity Pie and Butternut Squash Pappardelle so it's worth buying if you haven't got it already.Restarted Food Optimising at home 5/01/10

Hi everyone, didn't manage to get on last night and there are so many pages to catch up on!
Done quiet well today although took some hm soup to work in a plastic flask and it took on the plastic flavour of the flask and tasted discusting so it was lucky I had a sandwich with me as well (was planning to use the soup as a filler/starter)! Nevermind , going to try taking it in a jam jar tomorrow!!
B - Honey nut shredded wheat HEB
L - Ham salad sandwich and french fries (5 for bread, 1 for tbsp mayo, 4 for french fries)
D - Pork chop, sw chips and mixed veg
S - Grapes, apple, 2 cups of tea and a light alpen bar (2 for sugar and 3 for bar)
So I have used 13 syns today which is the most in 1 day to date, i'm having problems with work days as I need a quick breakfast and a quick lunch so i'm having 2 HEB but as i'm doing EE i'm using syns for 1 of them! Any ideas of a quick lunch then please let me know!! I am going to try the breakfast rice thing but I don't really like yoghurt but i'll try anything.......except quark, already tried it yuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkk!!!
SC - good luck with the wedding dress I tried on quite a few but when they put my dress on I knew instantly and when I looked at the tag the dress style was called 'margot' which was my grandfathers pet name for my grandmother...funny eh!?!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -

Thanks again Marion. I thought you couldn't mix As and Bs but just getting used to plan. Thank god for the SW fairy...lol
Not sure about the quiche as I'm not that keen on eggs but I think I will try making it and see what it's like. I'm sure my lot will eat any remainder! Will be making the rice though, will be getting the pudding rice tomorrow, may have it with strawberries and strawberry muller light...:T0 -
Thanks all for the comments! Now you've confused me! I hink I will go into Birmingham on Friday to keep looking and see if I can make a decision then. if not and I have to leave it an extra week it's not going to be the end of the world - will just make it tight for the dressmaker to take it in for the thousands of inches I will have lost by then :rolleyes:0
