Since my disastrous 1200 calorie sandwich I'm hyper aware of how bad I am in restaurants! So, who can help me pick the lowest synned, green day, vegetarian option on this menu. I'm going there with the new boss and the other guys from work and don't want to order anything that's obviously 'diet food'! Any help appreciated!

My instinct is to go for the Penne Mediterranean and ask them to skip the oil if they can, but who knows!

Seems to be the best choice out of a bad bunch really! Extra virgin olive oil (1 tblsp) can be a HEB and you could syn the pine nuts? Loved the menu but everything was creamy this, cheesy that! It really is harder for you guys over there! Enjoy your lunch anyway - if it isn't going to be an everyday occurance I would just enjoy myself and flexible syn it!

Im sticking to green days this week. trying to avoid EE to see if I can stay focussed on one plan that I know works for me. I may have one EE day on Sat, so i can make meat lasagne as a treat but I may try and stick to green and go for a yummy baked bean lasagne instead.

    today im having
B- 2x poached eggs on toast (heb)
L-tuna salad (heb) maybe have a baked potato with it.
D - quorn chicken bhoona, boiled rice (free)
    snacks fruit, yoghurt

syns- a choccy biscuit or 2 with a cuppa tonight.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Slimming world but I started using the books I bought on ebay last week and have mainly been doing the green days.

I have lost 4lb in my first week, and I'm really excited and enjoying eating healthy food, the week before I started SW I went to Mc Donalds 4 times:eek: so no wonder I have lost weight!

Hi all - today is going to be a challenging day - I'm going out for coffee and cake with some workmates (am leaving work this week) - and then tonight am going to the cinema.

Here's the plan - I am going to have a slice of cake - but I'm going to ask them to halve the normal portion slize - and then I can enjoy it - using up my syns for the day.

THEN at the cinema I will get a drink of diet coke and STICK TO IT. Its ridiculous that I think I can only enjoy the cinema if I have pick and mix:rotfl:

Am telling you all this - to reinforce my decision - and knowing that I will have to 'fess up if I cave;)
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

  • Well done to miamoo, blackberrry-rum and immynjoesmum. Every loss is a good one! :T:j

Yesterday went out the window for me, i had my nando's for lunch then a bowl of crunchie nut cornflakes before bed! :o:(

Today I WILL do better! According to the scales on my Wii Fit, I've lost 2lbs since Monday! I'm sceptical - but we'll see what they say on Monday!

I'm just about to force myself out of the door for day 3 of my running plan, foodwise I'm thinking:

    RED

    Brekkie: Mullerlight Yoghurt and Banana

Lunch: Chicken salad with baby pots (HEB)

Dinner: Baked Salmon, with roasted veg and butternut squash mash

    Happy slimming everyone!

    xx

I'm exactly the same Rupe! Even if I'm stuffed I always feel as though I need to munch on something when I'm at the cinema! I started taking a packet of fruit gums with me, 1/2 syn per sweet, and since I suck rather than chew they last right the way through the film!! ;) Although if you're using your syns on cake that maybe won't work for you

    good morning all!
Someone has switched off the sun here in Sarfend.
I'm hoping to go on the wii when the baby goes to bed. I've already done the body test & according to that I've reached my target
I only weighed in on Mon at SW & had lost 2lbs. I have 2lbs to go till I reach target & 1.5lbs till I reach my 2.5stone award!

B: Porridge made with water & cinnamon
L: Salad with kidney beans & LF cottage cheese
D: Roasted veg & brown rice
    snacks: tomatoes/plain yog with linseeds/ryvita.

I've had to cut out all forms of sugar from my diet & also mushrooms/cheese etc. Could explain why my weight loss has sped up a wee bit. I'm not cheating though, apart from I don't get a HeA but I have a huge bowl of plain yogurt. Oh & for syns a pack of plain crisps! The linseeds are also synned.

Well done Lisa!! :T:j:beer::T It must be a great feeling!! How long has it taken you to get to target?

That's fab news if you have hit your target!! How do you find your wii fit scales compare to the slimming world ones?
