brokebutnotbroken wrote: »:wave:Afternoon everyone. I haven't been in here for the last week things have been hectic around here!
I have had 2 birthdays and i went away over Easter to thought I would have blown my plan - i still managed a 2lb loss this week so 9lb in total thats almost 2lbs per week - perfect!
I would like to make a fish pie tonight for supper (Red day) so i thought i could make a carrot and swede topping but i am stuck on the white sauce........ I have no milk left as a HE today so was hoping i could use quark? Does anyone have an easy recipe please? I am not keen on quark as it has a very tangy flavour so need to disguise that if possible.
Thanks in advance ladies x
There is a recipe for fish pie in the new SW magazine that is out now, it uses quark to make the white sauce. Add some herbs and fish stock to the quark and stir = white sauce ala SW style!:beer:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Hey guys newbie again
Today my meal plan is;
B - big bowl of Fruit salad and Mullerlight yoghurt
L - prawns w/ brown rice, peppers, onions and lettuce
D - potato and ham frittata w/ peppers, onions and a pinch of cheddar (HEA?)
I haven't really syned so far (been on it 2 days) and haven't been majorly hungry just peckish between meals (bodys just getting used to the new routine), obviously with slimming world it encourages you to eat as much as possible (free foods of course) so im just worried that i wont lose anything if i'm not using up all my syns and HEA/B's, maybe just being silly.
Anyway tomorrow my boyfriends mum and dad are having a meal out for their wedding anniversary and i believe they are going to the hungry horse...
what can i eat?? lol quite nervous about this as my temptation is chips and they do really nices ones there! heehee0 -

I think our consultant said they were 9 syns? That was for the basic sort of £1 Cadbury egg without any extra chocolate bars included in the box! Not sure if I am remembering correctly though:oWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Can't comment on the restaurant I'm afraid as I have never been there, however if you are not having your syns (at least 5 a day minimum) then you are not following the SW plan correctly and (again according to SW) you will not lose weight! I know it doesn't make sense but I think most of the people on here will tell you that if they don't have their syns they don't lose! Also if you are not having your HE's, again you are not following the SW plan. You may be on a diet but it is not the SW eating plan!When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
