can you tell me how to make the chicken and chickpea salad ?.
Dead easy, BG. And syn free on EE.

It's just 1/2 can chickpeas, 8 peppadew peppers, roughly chopped, chunks of chicken(I use those bags frozen from FarmFoods at 3 bags for £5 but any chicken will do), cucumber and fresh coriander. I ususally dress it witha tbsp of balamic vinegar or the juice from the peppadew peppers.

    HTH:)

    Marion thank you so much!

Not a bad amount of syns - ususally gluten free stuff tends to be a lot higher than I imagine. It was yummy - but will have to watch it over the week as I've gone over my syns today.:o (It was that pesky mayo!)

Have you ever tried cutting out wheat from your diet? My wheat intolerance started out of the blue when I was doing WW last year and was basically having wheat at every meal time. I'm pretty sure it's an aggrevator? of IBS too and the symptoms are so similar. Just a thought as you previously said it started when you were doing green days before. It might be worth a try if you haven't already tried it? If you have then I'll get back in my hole :D

hello, I lost 2lb this week after I STS last week (that was my first week). I'm so pleased that I lost this week or I think I would have given up, but this diet really does work!!! I have tried to eat more this week and it has obviously paid off!

I did wonder about this but after tests at the hospital [god how embarressing was that, especially as the Dr was a parent of kids at my school :o] they put it down to IBS so who knows lol. I thought about cutting out pasta but I love it too much :o

Thanks, I'm in a bit of a mess at the minute to be honest, a few stresses at home (well more than a few!) and planning for sw seemed like extra stress. I know it's an easy plan and I can stick to it and like it. Like you say maybe a break is best. I would of liked to stick around here but felt like a bit of a fraud as I've been here for weeks and not stuck to plan never mind be able to help anyone else! :o

One of the main problems at home has now been sorted so maybe I'll get back to it soon, need to do something because seeing the extra flab isn't helping with my mood!

Sorry for being a drama queen, everything just seems up in the air at the minute.
You're not being a drama queen, don't be daft! I'm sure lots of us on here have had a bit of a break where we have just had to focus on other parts of our lives - and you do provide support for others just by contributing anyway, and nobody is counting how much you do. I spent months 'lurking' just reading what was going on and really felt part of it just by doing that, so stick with the forum even if you don't feel you want to chip in and pick up SW again when you are ready.

All the best anyway, whatever you do.
