    Morning all.
I wonder if anyone can help me.
I'm taking my 2 boys awy on Sunday and staying in a hotel for 3 nights, coming home Wednesday afternoon/evening.
How can I stay as much on plan as possible while having to eat out all the time! aggghhh!
We are going to the seaside and will find it sooo hard to resist the fish and chips :rotfl:

    Sorry, me again

Just wanted to say fab weight loss Vixie - that is inspirational to me, and I am going to try really hard this week to even do half as well!

And welcome back Catt, I was wondering where you had gone. You must be so excited now that all your plans are falling into place. Sun out, blossom on trees and getting married soon; life doesn't get much better!

Right, I'm off back into my cage now.

Sorry, sorry - just wanted to let you all know from MSN newsletter this morning that Morrisons has confirmed it's doing 12 Muller Light yoghurts for only £2. The offer is on until 2 May and includes all Muller Light single pots (160g - 190g).

Don'tKnowAnyMore - I would just try and keep SW in mind when making your choices for breakfasts and lunches, use flexi syns and take the batter off the fish (well, most of it anyway!)

    Have a lovely time.

    Def off now.

I would personally try to have free foods for breakfast and either lunch or dinner, then use my syns for the other meal and have a treat. I'd also try and do lots of walking.

    My plan for today-

B-Kellogg's Fibre Plus Bar (HEB), Satsuma, Banana

Lunch- Jacket potato with LF cottage cheese, pear

D-Tuna Pasta Bake with melted cheese (HEA), LF Yogurt

    Snacks- Easter Egg (5 syns)
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Hello All,

Well I fell off the wagon in a spectacular style last time I was on the plan and went on holiday feeling very fat and frumpy indeed. Although I didn't watch what I ate on holiday, I did do loads of running, swimming and diving so I minimised any damage from all the lovely puds :-)

I'm now determined to get to target and have rejoined a class. I'm going to catch up on the thread now and plan my food for today.

    Cheers

Hi and welcome to all the newbies. Welcome back Catt - ooh, it's getting close now, bet you're very excited!!

    Weetabix cake

If you're a fan of fruity malt loaf, you'll love this.

    Serves 10
Syns per serving: 3½ Syns + 1 HEB and part of a HEA

    2 Weetabix (HEB)
    113g/4oz sultanas (16 syns)
    142ml/5floz skimmed milk (from HEA)
    142ml 5floz water
    113g/4oz self-raising flour (18 syns)
    1 teaspoon mixed spice
    14g/½ oz artificial sweetener (optional)
    1 egg, beaten

    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC, 350ºF or Gas Mark 4

    2. Put the Weetabix and sultanas in a bowl. Pour the milk and water over the top and leave to soak up all the liquid.
    3. Stir in the flour, mixed spice, sweetener and beaten egg.
    4. Spoon the mixture into a 454g (1lb) lined/non-stick loaf tin and bake in the preheated oven for 1¼ hours until cooked.
    5. Cool on a wire rack, then cut into 10 slices.

For the poster who asked about Scan Bran - they aren't the nicest tasting cracker in the world, but they certainly help to make your weight drop off. There's a whole long list of recipes using them - if you want some, just ask and I can post a few.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I would definitly like some of your scan bran recipes please! The above cake looks good but there is no way I would cut it into 10 pieces and then only have 1 plus my B and part of my A:( No self control - thats my problem!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

Hi everyone, can I join you? I've been doing boots diets online since Xmas but getting nowwhere fast! I'm going to a wedding in 6 weeks and I'd like to lose 7lbs by then so I've decided to join a SW group as hopefully having an official weigh in and a change of diet plan will give me the motivation I need to stick to it. I've done slimming world before but it was quite a few years ago and having got so used to calorie counting I'm a little scared that the 'all you can eat' approach won't work for me, even though it did before!
