These are the NHS 12 week referrals.. my GP used to do them but apparently in some areas they stopped doing them as people didn't turn up after the first week :(

i've gotta see my GP soon so i'm gonna ask if he still does them :)

Hi everyone, can I join you? I've been doing boots diets online since Xmas but getting nowwhere fast! I'm going to a wedding in 6 weeks and I'd like to lose 7lbs by then so I've decided to join a SW group as hopefully having an official weigh in and a change of diet plan will give me the motivation I need to stick to it. I've done slimming world before but it was quite a few years ago and having got so used to calorie counting I'm a little scared that the 'all you can eat' approach won't work for me, even though it did before!

Welcome to our group:j A 7 pound loss by June is perfectly doable (is that a word:p)? It is scary when you switch from another diet to SW and you may just have a gain the very first week while your body gets used to the new regime, however things will soon settle down and you will be fine!:j:j

    Hello everyone!

I posted on this board a few times back at the beginning of 2009. I originally lost 1 stone on slimming world between January and June of 2009 (with a few gains along the way and have since put a few lbs back on.
I am now hoping to lost another stone at least and then see how I feel once I get there.

I never got the hang of red and green days and always do extra easy.

Can I just check because I'm really excited about the possibility that nimble white bread is allowed as a HEB?

Looking forward to getting to know you all better :j

  • :wave:Afternoon everyone. I haven't been in here for the last week things have been hectic around here!

I have had 2 birthdays and i went away over Easter to thought I would have blown my plan - i still managed a 2lb loss this week so 9lb in total thats almost 2lbs per week - perfect! :D

I would like to make a fish pie tonight for supper (Red day) so i thought i could make a carrot and swede topping but i am stuck on the white sauce........ I have no milk left as a HE today so was hoping i could use quark? Does anyone have an easy recipe please? I am not keen on quark as it has a very tangy flavour so need to disguise that if possible.

    Thanks in advance ladies x
