You have lost since Christmas, which is brilliant. (I have been stuck since Christmas!) Now you need to build on that success - go back to your books, make your food plans and lose the rest of that weight.
Stick with us and let us know how you do! Come on now...

Can I come crawling back please?!
I decided a day or 2 ago that because I wasn't properly sticking to plan I might as well give up and just try to eat better and move more. Well today I've had 2 pasties2 malteser bunnies and half a bag of crisps as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now I have come totally off plan I am binging again, whereas when I thought in the back of my mind I was loosely on plan I was much better behaved?. . . . . . Hope you understand that because I'm not sure I do :rotfl:
I'm not going to put too much pressure on myself to stick to it 100% at the minute, could be a few flexible syns day, but hopefully by the time things have died down at home I'll be in the swing of it.0 -

You making spag bowl sauce from scratch, I always chuck a few extra veggies in like carrots, extra tomaotes etc to boost the superfree.

I've been doing this for years to get DD and DS to eat veg. I grate the carrots, cougettes whichever in and they are undetectable in the finished product.0 -
TakeItEazy wrote: »QUARK QUESTION?
I have seen on here that quark takes on the flavour of anything added to it, told hubby this & as he isn't keen on tomato based sauces I recommended adding blue cheese [his fav] to quark aand using that on his pasta. Now he did this a few days ago and said it still tasted of quark [tangy] so question is how long does it take to lose that tang and fully taste of the cheese? Not having tasted it myself [dont like blue cheese] I'm now a bit put off using the other tub of quark to make some other type of sauce. What does quark absorb the best?
Any ideas most welcome.:T
Blue cheese is yum but gives me migraines:( but the SW website recommends that you make it and leave it overnight to make it blue cheesy.0 -
Hi, haven't been on for a while, been reading and keeping up with everyones progress but just no time for anything else! (thanks to an 11 year old, a nearly 2 year old and a teething 5 month old....)
Weigh in tonight, lost another 3lb! Got my 2 stone sticker and slimmer of the week. The baby weight is disappearing!! Yippee!
Well done to all those still losing and maintaining. Gaining is totally acceptable around Easter I believe.....:EasterBunIt's more than tested my willpower......a couple of small bits of chocolate may have found their way past my lips........without permission of course:A.
I have an appointment with the doctor next week, as I appear to have developed an intolerance to certain foods since I've been on SW (namely pizza and pastry - I have had them both as a treat after a weigh in and they do not agree with me in a number of ways???).
I'd be interested to know if anyone else had a similiar experience? Or am I just odd.....0 -
Well done chonorla! I have a 5 month old monster as well!
I lost 6.5lb at my first proper WI tonight. I'm really pleased as I went a little bit over my syns on Easter sunday so I wasn't sure how I'd do. It has really given me the motivation I needed to keep going with it. I do feel like I have eaten lots of yummy food this week, so it's not been too much of a hardship.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
re the Quark - try 'diluting' the blue cheese gradually & hubby will get more used to it. Don't use a whole tub to a small piece of cheese - try half & half or one to double at first IYSWIM?
Been really good without realising it todayand have been spring cleaning like a maniac since I got home - don't know what's wrong with me! :rotfl:
