hey guys i figure you would be the best to ask about this but I'm looking to substitute caster sugar with Honey or Sweetener.
For honey what quantity should i use instead of 100g/4 oz of caster sugar? Would sweetener be the same..
I'm trying banana cake and some i knew used to do this and it was still delish but I'm not enough of a pro to know how much etc to use!!! Also is any sweetner better to use for cooking in particular?
Any advice welcome!
Thanks in advance!0 -

You only get 1 heB choice with EE. Looking at your menu you put a hi fi bar as a snack. You'd have to syn for that if you are also having toast.
Bad weather : I'm not sure about the sugar/sweetener substitution but you would also have to count the bananas as syns as you are cooking with them.0 -

When I use sweetner instead of sugar I match volume for volume not weight for weight. So i'll match 4 table spoons but not 60 grams if that makes sense. It is prob logic for most people but i didn't know that and cried cos i thought i had to put the same vol in and this makes a cake very very expensive
I have always been nice but dim lol

Does anyone else use their HEb for puffed wheat? It gives me a lovely bowlful and doesn't soak up loads of milk, so plenty HEa fot tea and coffee.
Today, so far:

L Chicken and chickpea salad and clementine
