Hey all,
I'm re-starting sliming world this week (today is day 1!) and am going it alone since I live in the US and still remember the basics! I'll fake join a group when I'm back in the UK on hols in June to be reeducated and learn about this EE malarky! I looked at subscribing to the online SW but it's the people I miss more than the guidance about food!
Therefore I'm making you my SW group (hope that's not too presumptuous!).
I lost a bit of weight before xmas counting calories, and have pretty much stayed the same since then (least I made it through the hols without gaining the usual half stone!) since I can't seem to stick with the disciplined eating habits!
This weekend I made a real effort to find Quark locally and had no luck. I was really disappointed and seriously considered spending vast amounts to either have it shipped out of state to me or buying a machine to make it (like a yogurt machine). Then I calmed down and saw that HEs allow a fair amount of FF cream cheese and since the yanks are obsessed with the stuff I've decided to make do and plan to make low syn cheesecakes with that instead!
Anyhoo just had a lunch of jac pot, laughing cow triangles and sweetcorn and it went down better than anything I've had recently whilst 'cheating' on a diet - hope i can just maintain the enthusiasm!
M
PS your weight losses are inspiring to me. I'm going to try and copy you!0 -

As well as the peppermint capsules Wendy mentioned (or should that be Windy) and the Turmeric that's been mentioned, you could try charcoal tablets.

Vixie Pixie feta cheese is really tasty in the moussaka topping instead of parmesan and you can have 42g for a heA, I put in 100g when I made a moussaka for 4. So you could increase it to 168g if you wanted to make it up to one heA per portion or of course half it if you wanted to make up the other half with cheese or milk in another meal througout the day.
ooh thanksi love feta cheese, i have parmesan now but shall get some feta for next time
Yum!
A big WELL DONE! and WTG! for this weeks losersand hugs and a "c'mon you can do it!" for this weeks STS and gainers.
I should be weighing in at boots today, but i've had an awful fortnight and its * week so i'm feeling a bit scared lol.
I've had awful wind too, unfortunately i do not have a child or dog to blame it on lol. I have this air freshener/linen spray stuff from avon which hides my stench :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:so most of the time the room smells like almonds lol
and i have also decided that Bran flakes are eeeevil!!!! my guts are killing me! :rotfl:All hail to the sale!!!!!!
new beginnings...... new successes..0
