Happy Easter All :icotbaske:EasterBun
Had internet probs again, not sure if its my laptop or BT but whatever its driving me mad.
WI & maintained, probably due to last week as this week I been goooood:A up til saturday only had 40.5 syns, where as last weeks was well over 105 for week.
Yesterdays food
B - 3 weetabix [b's] milk [a] coffee
L - savoury rice, toms, cue, fat free dressing
T - mash, rice,toms,cue,pickled onion & fat free dressing
Snacks - none cept bottle water
Syns - 2 liquorice torpedos/comfits, didn't know the make but trawled through the book and came up with 2 comfits 0.5 syns. Saving rest off syns for sunday roast.
Today I'm going ee
B - 3 weetabix [hb + 3.5 syns] milk [ha] coffee
L/T - will be late afternoon so probably combine both. Roast Lamb, mash[1.5syns vitalite], peas, cabbage, onions, carrots. Must have yorkshire [will weigh for syns 9] + flour thickened gravy [2 spoons @ 3.5 syns but split between 3 of us 2.5].
Syns - 16.5 Thought I'd have a muller, but hubby got the wrong ones again grrrr, I wanted vanilla & choc but he got the layered one which aren't free so another 2 syns on top of todays syns am so mad.
If I only have 1 meal will it still be ee ?
Welcome to all the newbies and very good luck to us all over EasterIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

hi again!!
Hello and welcome to all the new peopleglad to see the thread is growing
I have a really sweet tooth today and with all these easter eggs laying around its driving me crazy.
Today - Original
B - 28g Asda Sultana Bran (heb1) with milk (hea1) touch of sweetener.
L - Gammon with eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes
S - 2x rich tea fingers (2) 2 mikado sticks (1) taster of my dads yorkshire pud (2? as was a small chunk) small piece of easter egg (2? as less than 1/8th of the egg) = 7 syns so far.
I do have my ryvita left over from my first heb along with hea2 and heb2 so for supper was going to have a toasted ham and cheese sarnie with some pickled onions and gherkinsfollowed by the ryvita
also as i am craving sweetness am gonna make myself a mini banoffee cheesecake by getting a ww ginger biscuit (2.5), quark, a banana and a tbsp of askeys toffee dessert sauce (2.5) = 5 syns. Plus my mum made a jelly (1.5 for the whole bowl) with fresh raspberries in it... so may have some of that too, with some melon chunks.. i'm hoping by overloading my unusally sweet tooth i will not need sweet stuff for a while...
tomorrow me and OH will be making a trip to the cinema, so will be taking small bag of popz popcorn (7syns) so i dont feel like im missing out on popcorn action!! lolAll hail to the sale!!!!!!

Quick Q for all you SW experts. As I said I started this week, but I forgot to mention that I am breastfeeding my son. Should I be having any extra allowance? I did tick the box on the registration form to say I'm breastfeeding but my consultant didn't mention it. Thanks in advance.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

I can check with my consultant tomorrow morning for you but I am pretty certain that you will get at least an extra HEA choice! Lucky you as well, it should be easier to lose weight when you are breastfeeding:beer::beer:!
Marion:)When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Thanks Marion! I was hoping the weight would just fall off, but unfortunately it hasn't! To be fair I wasn't putting on weight before I joined SW even though I was scoffing 2-3 chocolate bars a day plus big meals and biscuits with every cuppa etc, so I guess I should be grateful.
Just cooking my tea of jacket potato, LF cottage cheese, dry fried mushrooms and tomatoes. Can't wait, I'm famished!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

SW recommend that breastfeeding mums have the following extra HEs alongside the 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs they have on the Original & Green plans or alongside the 1 HEA and 1 HEB on the EE plan:-
Baby up to 2 months old...................3 extra
Baby 2 to 3 months old.....................4 extra
Baby 4-6 months old if starting to wean............3 extra
Baby 4-6 months old if b/milk is only food...........4 extra
Baby over 6 months old when starting to wean......1 extra
At least one (preferably 2) should be from the milk and cheese list (HEA).
Hope that helps.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi folks, hope you all had a happy easter.
I have just had my hea and heb and am on EE.
I had 4 Ryvita for B but had no cottege cheese left so I have had Tesco extra light cream cheese instead 85g.
If you tell me I cant have that on EE I will just have to add to syns and bang goes my glass of wine : (
Many thanks.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

Flipping 'eck, that's quite a lot extra. May explain why I've been feeling quite hungry still......my bubba is nearly 5 months and still has 6-7 milk feeds a day so I guess I should be having an extra 3 healthy extras. Thank you very much for that consultant!
Has anyone tried the Kelloggs Fibre Plus bars that count as a HEB? They are lovely, and only £1 for a box of 4 in Tesco at the mo.
Gonna try the slimming world quiche tomorrow. I'm not that keen on eggs but do like normal quiche, so hopefully this will be yummy too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
WI today-lost 5lbs:j:j
That makes my total in 2 weeks 91/2 lbs, so half stone award!!
Very very pleased. Made SW thai green curry this w/e and it was lovely. Also made the weetabix cake (which is very like weezl's weetabix cake) and that was good too and only 3 syns a slice which wasn't bad.
Does anyone else use their HEb for puffed wheat? It gives me a lovely bowlful and doesn't soak up loads of milk, so plenty HEa fot tea and coffee.
Today, so far:
B Puffed wheat, fruit salad total 0% fat greek yougurt
L Chicken and chickpea salad and clementine0 -
