I'm looking forward to my easter gifts tomorrow. DD is getting me some strawberries and daffodils and fiance is getting me a melon. I can't often afford those fruits so will be a real treat even though it isn't a chocolate one
I thought about getting some mini bags of buttons or magic stars but that's a bit dangerous cos I could end up eating all of them very quickly
I'm going to ask the children to keep their open easter eggs in their rooms instead of leaving them laying around where I might be tempted to pinch a bit
I really want to get another 1lb off this week. I keep telling myself that my weight loss being so slow is a good thing, because the longer it takes the more I will be 'in the habit' of eating the way I am now and then 'hopefully' I won't go back to my old eating habits once I've lost what I want to lose :A
I had the munchies last night so had a jumbo choc snack a jack (3 syns) followed by a caramel one (2.5 syns). Didn't really do it for me but as there was nothing else in the house I could have, I had to settle for those. That's where wheat intolearance comes in handy - I can't eat the biscuits and choc snacks that I buy for the children
Hope you all have a great day xxSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

I bought the new one in class last Monday. It is May/June and has a blond woman in a blue dress on the cover. Advertises 43 pages of new food ideas! Not sure if they are available in the shops yet because I think we get them in classes first? When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

You are more than welcome on our thread although you may find it a little quiet over the weekend! Going to classes is helpful for your weight loss, I would just let then know that you are on shift work and they will mark your accout accordingly. I realise it is your husband on shifts but if you can't come because of that then I think you are on shifts too! No need to go into a long explanation when you sign up and if you know what the shifts are ahead of time I can't see it as being a huge problem!

Happy Easter :EasterBun
Told everyone not to get me any chocolate this year so got some nice home made cards for dd and ds :T. Planning on having an EE day today and making a syn free roast chicken, mash and veg for tea.
Oh made us dinner last night it was so yummy. He made turkey (couldnt get veal) saltimbocca (sp?) It was turkey steaks battered out really thin, pan fried with a little sage and low fat spread, topped with parma ham and mozzarella. We only used a few syns for the marg and used a heb for the mozzarella. It was fab with new potatoes and spring greens.
Were off to Cumbria for a few days in a caravan tomorrow. Need to go shopping later for supplies, I have no idea what im taking yet, I might have to go slightly off plan this week. Im going to have a look at the website later and try and find a few low syn ready meals and live on cold meat salads and sandwiches.
We are going to Blackpool on Thursday so im sure we'll end up having an ice cream and fish and chips.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Wonder if you saw my idea of adding a teasp of Turmeric to the soup to help stop the windy side effects. If so, did it work?
Works ok for me (now someone will tell me Turmeric is full of syns lol )
Happy easter all. :easter_ba:icotbaske0
