Chai Latte (indian-style tea) is LOVELY but it is made with spices and sugar as well as hot milk - you can recreate a no-syn one at home by using some of your HEA skimmed milk, warmed up, a Liptons Chai teabag, and hot water without any sugar. I like to put the teabag into the milk then into the microwave to heat up, it seems to draw the spices out more ....mmmmm I think I have some in the "tea" file, I might make one now :o)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Hi all,

Never written on here before but have tried to read the whole 153 pages!!! So many ideas.
Just a bit about me - i joined SW Oct 09 (19st 2lb) and have lost 2st 10.5lbs (16st 5.5lbs) so far - i completed the 6 week slimathon and managed to loose 10.5lbs - much to my sponsors disappointment and have raise £352 for NSPCC!!!
I also tried on a suit for the first time in 5years and it fits perfectly! I will now have to get use out of it!
    Im on EE today
B - Strawberries with fat free fromage frais (sweetener & lemon flavouring)
S - Banana, Coffee (milk as hea)
L - Pasta with Quorn pieces & hm tomato/pasta sauce with brocolli & carrots
    D - hm fish pie with brocolli/carrots/cauliflower

Not sure for heb - either hifi bar or ryvita minis
Then i can raid my fridge for choco for syns!

Also, on a fairly personal note - does anyone else suffer with really bad wind? I tend to stick to either green or EE days and since the EE days have suffered from really bad wind!

Hoping to loose another 2st 5.5lbs for my final wedding dress fitting in July - fingers crossed x

    I joined SW last week.
I had lost nearly 4 stone on Weight Watchers but then fell off the wagon and put a stone back on so thought I'd try something new. I went for my first weigh in on Tues and I've stayed the same :( I was really good as well. My leader said I might not have eaten enough so I've written everything down that I've eaten in the past couple of days but I seem to be eating loads. I think I've still got WW stuck in my head and am really worrying because I know from what I've eaten I'd be well over my points allowance for the day. Everything I've eaten is free or superfree but can I eat too much of these things?

Hi! Just posting before i catch up with the last day's posts :)

Having another bad day... i think its PMT trying to distroy me

Green day (craving carbs badly so thought id make the most of green!!)

    B - 2x sunnybisk with chopped banana (heb1) and milk (hea1)

L - Work buffet .... was doing well with salad (1/2 my plate), onion and garlic dip (2syns), breadstick (1) mini scotch egg (2.5) tomato pasta (? allowed 2 for the sauce as only had a tbsp) few crisps (2) jacobs hovis cracker (1.5) and cheese (hea2) ... and then i had a chunk of rocky road .... urgh (12)

Drinks, water, 2 pints of diet coke.

    S - none

D - mushroom pasta (literally just seasoned mushrooms and plain pasta)

will have a hifi bar to make up my second heb with a cup of tea later.

At least now i have 5 days at home where i can munch my way through as much speed food as my guts can allow, with no temptations of cakes and buffets!!!!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Hello Nessie and welcome to our group. You have done very well in your weight loss and I am sure once Easter is over you will find that this forum will get a lot busier. It tends to be a little quiet on weekends and holidays!
Re the wind question - I think it is because we are eating so many healthy high fibre foods plus all those vegetables too - it is only natural! I'm lucky because I have a dog I can blame it on :o, but I don't think anybody believes me anymore :rotfl::rotfl:(The dog is far too small to produce some of the sound effects produced):o:o

It might take your body a week or two to adjust to the SW diet after WW but if you follow the plan you are guaranteed to lose weight. If everything you have eaten is free and super free what about your Healthy A's and B's and your syns? By not eating them you can be preventing your body from losing weight. It is well documented that those who don't havbe their syns don't lose! Strange but true!

    Welcome to our group!

sorry I have been having my healthy extras as well.

I have been having some syns but not 10 a day, although actually today I have made myself have 10 to see if that helps. What I was meaning was I'm eating loads of the free and superfree stuff and wondered if it was too much?
