Hello guys,
I havent posted on here so thought I would come say hello as I forgot this thread existed lol.
I'm due for my 8th weigh in at lunch time tomorrow (today really now) I have so far lost 2stone 1/2 lb. I have done slimming world before but never did well or lost much weight and I think it is because i didnt get on with the consultant i had. I am now at a different group and much prefer it and am getting the boost I needed.
My friends think I am mad as we went out tonight and it was 80p a drink for lager and vodka but I paid £3 for a pint of diet coke lol.
Hoping for a good result tomorrowxx
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

How is your daughter getting on with it?:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Im still plodding along, ive tried to relax a bit (not too much tho ) I find when im not so worried all the time about what goes in my mouth and simply stick to the rules and if i go over I try and make it up over the week I get on better and over all over the week I do quite well.
I went out for coffee with my mum and sisters , they were all having lattes and cake, I got myself all worked up with trying to figure out what would be least syns I was no fun.I ended up with a herbal tea and a small biccie and it was fine, but the point was I was being a bore with all the counting and panicing. My mum etc are sympathetic and are not the type to say 'go on have the massive cake' but I must get on their nerves as I was getting on my own lol.
Hope that makes sense?:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

I found this in the SW mag the other day:
Caffe nero:
Skinny cappuccino, reg (1.5)
Skinny latte, reg (2.5)
Skinny mocha, reg (8)
Skinny chai latte, reg (12)
Skinny hot choc (13)
Costa:
Skinny cappuccino, primo (2)
Skinny latte, primo (2.5)
Skinny mocha, primo (4)
Starbucks:
Americano, tall (1)
Skinny cappuccino, tall (3)
Skinny latte, tall (5)
mocha syrup, per shot (1)
Now I think most of those are well worth their syns!
Just stay away from the Skinny chai latte (what is that anyway??) and Skinny hot choc, they're both high at all places.
I find that as long as I'm not hugely craving a cake or chocolate, I don't bother having a cake and I don't miss it, even if friends are having one. Or why don't you share something nice with your mum or sis?
Coffee & a cake is one of life's pleasures, and if you go for herbal tea and a plain biscuit i'd be worried you'd be more at risk falling off the waggon because you're depriving yourself so much than the odd cake and staying in control.Thats as long as its not coffee & a cake every day you understand
Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0
