I'm wondering about this over consuming thing now. One of my favourite quick suppers for a green day is a packet of savoury rice with a 2 egg cheese omelette and baked beans. Is that over consuming on the rice?

    My day yesterday was

bf sachet of plain oatso simple with chopped banana and sweetener

lunch 4 x orig ryvita with dairylea light and a banana

    afternoon snack 2 pears

supper savoury rice, cheese omelette (frylite) and baked beans

dessert 2 slices of fresh pineapple

    late night munchies 2 pears

So lots of fruit there and I thought I was being really healthy having so much fruit, but am again wondering about the over consuming of that.
I know what you mean, and that does sound like a very filling meal (but yum).

I do find that my weight loss is slowed down if I eat a lot of fruit, which I do when I am desperately hungry; but someone mentioned earlier on this thread that a water melon has 1200 calories which gave me a bit of a shock! So even if it is sw free, we are still consuming 1200 calories, which is a hang of a lot!

I am getting closer to my magic number now and finding each half pound a real slog.

BTW, could someone please look up Rachels low fat mango, pineapple and passionfruit yogurt? It even just sounds synful! It's 88cals/4g protein/15gcarbs/1.6g fat/0.1g fibre per 100g (Sorry, don't know how much you need to know to work it out)

    Thanks

I tried working it out on the syns calculator and it came up as 4.5 syns per 100gm but haven't used it before so not sure if that's correct!

There was this one but it didn't specifically say low fat

    Mango, Pineapple & Passionfruit Bio-live Yogurt, 450g pot 9

but this one did and can't see why it would be too different?

Luscious Low Fat Peach Bio-live Yogurt, 450g pot 9½

Perhaps they add sugar of some form?

So if too much fruit is not good, would I be better off having the odd 'free' yogurt as a snack instead?

  • Oh god, I just hate myself at the moment :(
I started again so well then it all went pete tong again!
I had a couple of family court sessions this week and it has just completely thrown me, I turned to food and now I just wonder if it's even worth me trying if all i do is fail at the first sign of stress!
It was on a court day the week before that I fell off too, how can I stop myself turing to food in times of crisis?
Luckkily I have no more family court dates until may, which will then be the most stressful of them all (basically having to tell the court about domestic abuse I sufferd, while my ex denies it all then waiting for the judges to decide if they beleive me or not:()

I have just eaten so much crap this week that I reckon i've put the whole 5lb back on, my consultant (who seems really supportive by the way) text me mid week to ask if I was ok and was I coming back, a big part of me wants to but then there is a little part of me that thinks there is no point bothering, i'm destined to be grosely obese :(

Sorr for the down post, I just have noone else to speak to about it all.

DontKnow, try and put that behind you and start again
you say you dont have to go back to court til may, so train your mind into losing weight for that date and picture the look on youre ex's face when you go into court looking good and feeling confident after the weight loss
is that not worth the effort alone to see the look on his face? when he sees how good you are doing now without him xxxx

GRRRRR I sat here and typed a page full then got distracted and closed the wrong tab down

Not had a great week either, WI today gained a 1lb but not surprised. What with Birthday and Hubbys cooking I was doomed anyway :o.

I love my Hubby to bits [hes my soulmate & best friend] sorry if I made u sick lol. BUT he will insist on cooking sw unfriendly meals. I really do appreciate him cooking just wish he'd not add the extras.

Yeasterday he made curry with coconut cream, oil, raisins & naan bread. I had already had a few syns due to lunch duty so was planning a syn free tea. It was nice not to have to cook but paid for it in syns :o.

Will post todays food later when I know what I've had lol.

Can't wait for this week to be over as have had much more than this weeks syns already.

    Oh well . . . . . . .
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
