The questions above whether all the superfree food has to be on the plate (and I agree with Vixie's response that she hopes it's ok if it's not, cos I tend not to eat "meat & 2 veg" type meals ever), reminded me of my first attempt at SW a couple of years ago. In the Healthy Extra lists where it gives an amount of cereal "plus 2 scan brans" as a HEB I thought I had to have the scan brans broken up and with milk on, as part of the cereal. Let me tell you, it was VILE
:(:( especially mixed with porridge. Anyway this time round I keep everything separate which is the way I prefer to eat (picky? me?)
I like my Ryvita (pref to scanbran!) with marmite smeared over, then some plain yog, yum yum.:p:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Good day today, 4lb off at WI, got slimmer of the week & my first stone award!Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00

i usually have my cereal and then the crackerbread/ryvita/scan bran as a mid morning snack with spread cheese or something on...
i'm ok with superfree foods if i'm having a full english (looooove toms and mushrooms, quorn & eggs) or salads, but i don't really like roast dinners (i know, i'm wierd) so i do have trouble finding combinations of food where i can include 1/3 superfree foods that i like and theres only so many full englishes and salads that i can eat lolAll hail to the sale!!!!!!
new beginnings...... new successes..0 -

Does anyone know if Ryvita crackerbread (original) are a HEB or are these only synnable? Couldn't find the wholegrain ones in Asda - does the Co-op do these at all ?
Sorry but the original crackerbread are not a HEB, only the wholegrain ones. The figures that Skint Catt gave are for the ryvita crispbreads not the crackerbreads which are something different0 -
Thanks Vixie!0

She lost nearly 4stone with lighter life approx 18 months ago but has put it all back on and more she tried it again but couldnt cope with it again so gave it up and joined SW.
She has done SW before and had no trouble ;losing weight but now since she rejoined in Jan she is having a real struggle
Since Jan she has lost the odd 1lb but it on and and lost 1lb again but in the 10 weeks she has been doing EE she has lost only 1lb.
I have lost 10lb not a great loss but it is coming off but I am really upset with the way my daughter is now feeling as she does have lots to lose and we are going on holiday in June and this is stressing her as well
any advise please on what the problem might be
Annie
Hi Annie. Did your daughter post about this herself recently? I seem to remember a post from someone who'd been on a vlc diet, joined SW and wasn't doing too well and her Mum was!!
Anyway, whether it was your DD or not, the advice is the same, lol.....the problem with following a vlc diet is that they mess up your metabolism for a looooong time unfortunately. Your DD will get the benefit of a much healthier regime by following Food Optimising, but I honestly think as far as the weight loss is concerned, she will have to be patient and wait until her metabolism sorts itself out.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Wholewheat ones are a HEB but not the original I'm afraid. The only place I know you can get them is Morrisons (83p per pack I think).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi consultant,
sorry to jump in here but i think this is what may have messed me up. i did LL about 5 years ago for 3 months (all the weight back on now) and i know it's only my second week but loss seems slow (put on a pound this week)! I did try sw not long after LL and didn't lose either. Also have 5 month old bubba which hasn't helped!
My sis has lost a pound so far this week and has fallen off the wagon a few times but on the whole she does really well at SW (she's never done LL).
mind you just coming off * week so that won't have helped.
Panicking as I have a target of trying to lose 2 and a half stone by July/August for a wedding - does this seem too unrealistic at this rate?!
many many thanks
