 This is a Consultant who hasn't been to training recently I bet. There are such a lot of mixed messages doing the rounds, that I wonder anyone believes in SW any more  Sorry, but it makes me so mad!!

It's true that we are promoting EE above the other plans, but not because Original and Green aren't healthy for goodness sake. The reason is that EE is more 'normal' than other plans and therefore we should be able to go anywhere and find food that fits the plan, cook for the family without measuring and weighing our own portions etc, etc.

As you will know, the main SW ethos is that we learn to eat healthily, normally, without any hang-ups or obsessions with food. This is why we're not meant to hand out Food Diaries willy-nilly - they're meant to only be used as a tool when someone is struggling.

With EE you really need to be having at least a third of a plate of SS foods - this keeps the calorie count down while helping to make you feel full. If you don't need to lose much weight (are close to target) then make the SS foods half a plate.

It really works I promise, but you do need to use some common sense with portions. Anybody who consistently has huge portions of all foods (things that are free on both the other plans) on EE will struggle to lose weight.

Yep - that is me!:o:o I have always eaten large portions and that is probably why I struggle so much with EE:o:o

The only thing about watermelon is it's not a speed food like other melons.

Bit of a trying day today.
First of all succumbed to 2 slices of Tesco Finest Multigrain Farmhouse Batch Bread so would like to know how many syns in that please and if I can use any of that bread as a heb1?). Had that with cream cheese (heb2) and boiled egg. Sounds disgusting but was lovely.

L= 0% fat greek yogurt with tablespoonful of lemon curd stirred in. Liked it so much had another 100g pot with another spoonful of lemon curd:eek:. Guess I've gone over my syn allowance already :o

This evening having chicken and veg cooked in slow cooker to that's ok.

Snacks = tea with milk (hea1) apples, fat free yogs.

    Phew...... thank you.

Someone at work said they had hundreds and hundreds of calories in them as full of sugar and I just got a little worried. They must of been winding me up, probably jealous as it was lovely!

They're about 98% water so where are the calories? Yup, they're just jealous ;)

Though saying that they are about 1500 calories each  Not sure how that works! But still free on SW! :D
