DKAM-- dont beat urself up about it too much, draw a line and start again. Going for a walk will have helped!!
    xx

edit: I meant to ask earlier; could anybody help me? Im going out for a meal with a very good friend tomorrow night to celebrate her getting engaged, im gonna post the link to the menu, and would appreciate it if a couple of u could look at it and say wat you would choose from it!!?
    Thanks.xx

I would go for either the Caesar Salad as a main course and ask for the croutons and dressing to be served on the side or the Beef Chilli and request they leave off the cheese & creme fraiche(who has cheese on chilli anyway!). Obviously the advocado will be synned, bin the swee chilli sauce. Seriously they have put 4 things extra on to the chilli dish that are totally redundant and just adds extra syns:(:(

Morning All - thankyou so much for your replies. Realised it was time of the month yesterday so that might not have helped on weigh-in day!
Really don't feel deprived on the diet at all and have no intentions whatsoever to cheat.
Bluefire - have really tried on the sweeteners but just can't get used to them at all and I really love my cuppas so that is a real treat everyday and I honestly don't mind missing out on other 'goodies'. My sister loves her treats and has a little bar of something each day to get over her cravings and that's the only thing we do differently - we more or less eat what each other is eating each day.
Also enjoying trying out all the delicious recipes as before I stuck to the same boring stuff and then wondered why I strayed off the diet.
As I find weekends (especially Sundays) really hard, I am going to forward plan and get in as much exercise as I can to stave off the boredom!

Lisa F Have you tried the splenda sugar blend? Its brown sugar thats half sugar half sweetener. You just use it as normal, but only has half the calories. Might be worth trying it if you get to the stage you want some goodies and a cup of tea.

One of the ladies in my work came in with SW breakfast muffins this morning, heres the reciepe, they were lovely:

    Ham,
    onion,
    mushroom
fry and put in little cake papers (you know the things you make cupcakes in)
add beaten egg & milk (as if you are making an omelette) and put in oven for 10 mins (until cooked)

Can freeze then and just take one out whenever you fancy a snack.

*Any free veg/meat etc can be used, whatever is in the fridge!

Urgh, I know the feeling - I try not to remember the taste of real sugar now! Sweetner just isn't the same however it was a must for me because of how sweet I like my tea... on an average day I could easily have about 12 heaped teaspoons of sugar in just 3 cups of tea!

On a side note, I'm so glad I decided to try the 400g bread that's suitable for a HE. Having toast, clover light & marmite this morning was a real treat that I no longer have to feel guilty about!

    Oh dear :(
I had abad day today, i'm so cross with myself, it's my own fault, I skipped breakfast, then got stuck on the M25 for ages, then had an appointment with my solicitor, went straight from there to get a new mobile dongle, by which time It was 1.45pm so I stupidy had a Mcdonalds! I could punch myself I really could!
As soon as I ate it I regretted it, it made me feel sick for hours after.
Now I've probably gone and undone all my hard work, I went for another walk but know it wont counter act it, I dont even know how many sysn are in a CBO meal :(

HI DKAM - just want to echo what another poster said - don't dwell on it - draw a line and move on dude! Sometimes life just gets in the way - we've all had days like that (I have them frequently:rotfl:) but its what you do the next day that that really counts imho.

Last night I got ridiculously tired, but needed a bit of Rupetime before going to bed - so of course it was Grey's Anatomy and I ended up having a lot of toast. Stupid of me, but today I'm going to save my syns for this evening, so that I have options later on - its always the nighttime when I get really peckish - and when I'm tired I just eat whatever and regret it later.

    Have a great day :)

Went out again last night with OH & his colleague - had a biryani which I know is about 11 syns so not too bad - it's just the wine that's letting me down this week!
Have been lazy & haven't done as much walking as I would normally do round Edinburgh but hopefully we'll get some done this weekend :)
Beautiful blue sky & sun here today though windy!

Might have to turn today's red day into an EE as I haven't planned too well - trying not to buy too much that will get wasted when we go home next Friday.
    B; bacon, mushroom & egg
L; not too sure yet! Maybe fruit salad
    D; possibly steak or duck.
    C xx

Hi Guys, I'm doing the extra easy plan and I was just wondering how it actually works. Is it because the total sum of calories you should be able to eat will be low enough to make sure that calories in < calories used or is it something else like ATkins making your body go into ketosis?

EE relies on 1/3 of your plate being superfree foods (fruit & veg) which means there is more satiety than calories in your food. You stay fuller for longer on less calories - so basically the same as calorie counting ;)

    Hi all!

Today has not been good syn wise so far  had a costco cake - the individual ones with the butter icing!! From looking at basic foods in my food directory i work out the 2/3rds of the cake i ate was 25syns  Normally this wouldnt phase me but i have had chippy this week too!

    Red day today

    b - 28g Jordan's museli (HEB) with milk (HEA)

L - Ham with cucumber and toms.

Snacks - Aforementioned Cake 25syns, clementine, Hifi Bar (HEB2), plum, melon

D - turkey bacon, mushrooms, toms and eggs.

I do have to add a crackerbread to make up my first HEB so might have that with my dinner.

    Total syns 25.

Hopefully going to get my Wii fit tomorrow. If not, will be spending the day down my parents allotment so shall be getting plenty of exercise (weather permitting)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

I thought that was what it would be but I can eat a lot :o so even if I do the 1/3rd plate of superfrees I'm not convinced it will work as well for me as other people. Also, the syn value for certain foods seems so huge. I'm really trying to stick to it this week as I put on 1.5lbs last week after having a bad week but am finding it quite difficult as you seem to hardly be able to eat things unless you've prepared them at home.
