Thanks to BarmyCow, I have now tried the butter buds and find them delicious. I had 2 on a jacket potato as I put too much water in first one so had to add a 2nd sachet:o .
Trouble is I've forgotten where to buy them and how many syns each one is. Anyone know?

hello Gocat, I don't actually add water, just sprinkle the buds onto the food and as long as the food is hot it melts (just had omelette with mushroom, spinach and cheese for breakfast, the added butter buds just made it that bit tastier)

As far as I remember, some months back it was reported on here, or on the earlier thread, that SW had decreed butter buds free. And you buy them from Lakeland.

    thank you Slimming World!
  • ooops begging your pardon and agreeing with Skintcatt, the butter buds are half a syn per sachet on any regime. (now I am worried. On the accompanying "recipe ideas" sheet there's a picture of a slice of carrot cake, a piece of bread or jacket potato (hard to tell), and a cup of black coffee. Why would anyone add butter buds to black coffee :o

Hi all, not been on for a few days as have been plagued with this sickness bug. Im still not right. Have been running after the kids too, they have both had it, so loads of changes of beds and showers and scrubbing of floors :p.

I still have no appetite which is good news, but feeling a bit light headed and weak so going to try and eat something in a bit. I feel ive lost weight as jeans are looser, but as soon as I start eating again it will go back on. Just want to be feeling normal again.
