Lol, strange - ours is the other way round - they will refuse to let you give unless you're properly hydrated so you have to have the first, but when I've said I didn't want the 2nd they've said that was fine if I was feeling well.0

I have done slimming world before and it was successful however I was 8 stone overweight, my life has changed alot recently and I am concerned that slimming world wont work for me now that I am so close to goal and in addition to that i am disabled now and unable to exercise.
Do you think I can achieve success on slimming world with so little left to lose and being so inactive, I can only consume 1200 calories a day to maintain my weight so I cant believe I can eat larger quantities of food and still lose.
Any input would be most appreciated, thanks in advance x
The only problem I can see isn't the fact that you can't exercise (I'll admit that I do NO formal exercise at all and still lost weight successfully) but the fact that you've been on a vlc diet such as the Cambridge, which messes up your metabolism, making it very hard to lose weight by conventional means.
For the sake of your health I don't think you can beat food optimising, but I'm not sure that you'd lose those last 8lbs on it until your body has got back to managing your food intake efficiently.
You could follow the Extra Easy plan but have ½ plate of superfree foods instead of the recommended one third and hopefully it would work for you but it could be slow goingI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

They do usually ask me if I want a drink before, but I rarely have one and have never been told I must. Still I've given over 60 pints so I suppose they think I'm ok, lol. There have been a few changes in procedure lately though, so maybe they'll be insisting in the future.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Marion
The 2010 Food Directory has been out for a few weeks now Marion. I suspect your Consultant feels that it doesn't sell well enough to bother having them in. We have to buy them ourselves and don't get the money back until they sell, so having them hanging about is a bit annoying.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Congrats on the 3lb loss dazzle!
Well I've stuck to plan all week, yet in the last 3/4 hours seem to have been craving sweet stuff big style, so ended up shoving a few thorntons chocolates in my gob, along with a slice of white bread and jam, had been feeling a bit light headed today so maybe my blood sugar was low. Hope that's out of my system now, and hope it doesn't affect weigh in too badly, but hey ho. tomorrow's a new day.0lbs/18lbs to get to club 100 -
