It's WI for me tonight, and all of a sudden i want to eat everything in sight! To combat my urges i have put the slow cooker on to create some form of chicken/veg stew, (chicken is HEB - i'm having another green day - anyone else feel 'fuller' on green days?) Good luck with weigh in! I do feel fuller on green days but I find it wears off quicker if you know what I mean? When I am on red I don't feel as full but it lasts longer before I feel the need to eat again? Not sure if that makes any sense:rotfl::rotfl:
Luckily I have an early morning class so wanting to eat before I weigh in isn't too much of a problem, I just take my breakfast with me and eat afterwards. Mind you I have trouble sleeping every Sunday night and can never "ahem" move things on Monday morning like I do every other morning:o. The terror of weigh in!:rotfl:

If you got one from a group it would cost you around £7.50. Can you not find someone who does go to a group and ask them to pick up a Food Directory for you?
I despise the people who sell them on at these hugely inflated prices so I really hope you don't buy from one of them.

Im waiting for a couple of my friends to let me know if they go to (or know someone who goes) to SW so they can pick me up a directory - the alternative is to skip the gym for a week and go to a meeting and pay £10 for the first week and half price joining fee and get my book that way (along with the rest of the books in the pack) but I dont want the group leader thinking I am wasting her time0 -

There should be a new directory coming out soon. I know we havn't had any for sale at our class for ages, normally you order it from the consultant and she gets it in for us the following week.

bit of a weird one, but has anyone given blood before and then gone for a weigh in? My weigh in is thursday morning, and I'm considering donating (I've never done it before), either weds or thursday (after weigh in), but I'm kind of put off to go on wednesday and then have a 'false' weight on the scales simply because I've got less blood, I wouldnt mind if it was about a 1lb difference, but if makes much more of a difference than that I don't want to appear to have gained the following week...
The amount of blood they take won't affect your weight loss - but the amount they make you drink will. You now HAVE to have a drink before AND after you give blood so if you then scoot off to WI you'll be weighing heavy.0 -
Thanks for the reply skint catt, I was thinking of going tomorrow morning/early afternoon, and then my weigh in is Thursday morning, so hopefully it will have leveled out a bit overnight. I do try to drink quite a bit of water at the moment anyway so hopefully my body is used to it.0lbs/18lbs to get to club 100

Well I'm trying to be good!
Got some supplies in yesterday as arrived in Edinburgh - pretty much nothing I can't have on SW though we ended going for a Thai & lots of drink with my OH's director last night
Was going to have a red day but got nothing for lunch (and not enough fruit/veg for EE) so it'll have to be green and I'll have the burger I was planning tonight as a HEb/syns. Dinner is all planned - cheeseburgers in wholemeal bap (HEa/HEB/HEB) with SW chips
Think I'll have marions rice now as a late breakfast & hope that keeps me going!0 -
I lost 7stone last year mostly on cambridge diet then by counting calories - im fed up of counting calories now and have decided to do food optimising instead as I would like to lose another 8lbs.
I have done slimming world before and it was successful however I was 8 stone overweight, my life has changed alot recently and I am concerned that slimming world wont work for me now that I am so close to goal and in addition to that i am disabled now and unable to exercise.
Do you think I can achieve success on slimming world with so little left to lose and being so inactive, I can only consume 1200 calories a day to maintain my weight so I cant believe I can eat larger quantities of food and still lose.
Any input would be most appreciated, thanks in advance x0 -

Although i'm very shocked, for a tomato based pasta dish that is a lot of syns! It was the Pizza Hut Arribatta Pasta, and the Tori Tomato and Pasta Bake. I was thinking around 6 syns hahah. The Arribatta is a 450g portion, and the bake is a 400g portion. I used the large portion values from the nutrition table though..... might have to re-think my options!
The Arabiatta pasta is only 5 and a half syns on a green or ee day. Marion, I think you calulated it wrong as the figures are for a 450g portion not 100g.0 -
