  • You can do it cheeseaddict!! :T:T

Try pining up a list of things you can do if you lost a little weight on your fridge, I think someone mentioned putting a stone in their purse so when you go to buy something from the shops you think twice, and put an inspirational picture of say someone from the Slimming World magazine in your house. A little more motivational bits and bobs may start a really good week :j

The pasta sauce is per 1/4 jar: 43 cals, 2.5g protein, 7.0g carbs, sugar 5.9g, fat 0.5, sat fat 0, fibre 2.8g and salt 0.88g.

2 syns on all plans ie EE, red and green, thats for the 1/4 jar so not bad xxx
  • Thanks KathF :T

It's a 500g tub aswell, so pretty large really. Worked out at 8 syns a jar, and I reckon I'd get 3 servings out of it (no way i'd get four :rotfl:) so works out about 2.5 syns per 1/3rd of a jar. Not too shabby, considering the smaller sainsburys normal tom & herb sauce is 10, and I'd use half per portion .

I'm off to go on the Wii now, got the Your Shape exercise thing with the motion detecting camera, I really like it. Was only £22 at CeX too, instead of the £35 pre-owned in Blockbuster! My only gripe is that you have to use your arms too much, I'm knackered faster because of that, but I suppose it wouldn't be a full body workout otherwise :rotfl:

Thanks consultant31 - its nice to be back:)

OK dudes - opinions please - is it worth axeing the gymn membership and getting a Wii Fit? I do need to reign in the spending asap - my gymn membership can be finished with in a few months - but I do actually use it (and love it) - so its not a case of ending something because its a waste of money.

    What are the opinions ladies??
Hi again, Rupe. I would say stick with the gym membership if you can afford to - although I have friends who love the fitness stuff on the wii, doing it for real just seems better to me and if you enjoy it, I would def say keep with that. I think the wii is great for people who don't like going to the gym or don't have time, tho'.

Well today I fell off the wagon, rolled down a hill, hit the bottom & fell down a well. Yes, that bad. I'm not going to count the syns but basically my meals consisted of a giant yorkshire pudding filled with mince, vegetables & chips, a slightly massive piece of chocolate cake & Heinz cream of tomato soup for tea. Ooops!

I'm blaming my Mum & Nan, the former who is also doing Slimming World, and the latter who is paying for me to do it. The are an evil influence who simply made me eat that cake I tell you! (We all went out for Mother's Day lunch together)

On the subject of the Wii Fit, I love mine, but then again I wouldn't set foot in a gym if you paid me. If you love the gym I'd stick with that - to me using a Wii Fit is a low impact form of exercise, a top up to anything else to keep fit that you might be doing.

Activity wise I've still done well today, 1 hour on Wii Fit this morning & nearly 1 1/2 hours walk with the OH.

    Butter Buds

Evening everyone - I had a happy loss of 3.5lb this week, really felt I needed to make an effort after my 1.5 gain last week (star week). Would have been SOTW but for some chap losing another 4.5lb (grrrr :rotfl:).

Anyway, I noticed on an earlier post that someone had suggested Butter Buds as an alternative to marg/spread. I bought some of these a couple of months ago and cannot get on with them for love nor money so if anyone would like me to post 3 or 4 sachets to them so that they can try, just pm me your details and I'll send these out. I also do the postal research so the stamps are on me. I probably have enough to send to 7 or 8 people so don't be shy.

    :j
I don't think butter buds would replace spread, Barmy, but they are excellent over hot vegetables instead of butter, or in a jacket potato.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Got a bar of cadburys wholenut in with my mothers day pressies  Have resisted so far and am hoping that come tomorrow I will have forgotten about it (i've hidden it lol). Am out for my 40th bday meal on Friday so am determined to be really good until then and then have whatever I fancy on the night - at least I can't be really naughty and have chocolate gateau or anything - that's the only plus side of being wheat intolerant :rotfl: Oh and my morning weight today was 10.13 so am very chuffed with being under 11 stone :D even though I'll still be over that for my weds eve wi.
