That's exactly what happened to me - nothing for months and then turns up 2 days before first WI!! Maybe it's a shock to the system suddenly eating all that healthy food lol I lost a pound first week though so couldn't complain xxSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -
re the star weeks usually when people are over weight and eating unhealthily it does affect things and can stop them altogether, so when you start being good and healthy the body kicks back in again
just think of all the extra weight loss the following week xxxx0 -
Just made some nice coleslaw to go on a jacket potato;
1 med/large carrot finely grated, half a small red onion cut very fine, some thinly sliced cabbage, black pepper, a tsp of wholegrain mustard 0.5 syn, 2 tbsp ex light mayo (1 syn) and a spoon or so of fat free fromage frais. Only used half and that was a good portion so about 0.5/1 syn per portion the way i've made it, oh and i put a little lemon juice in too. I had my healthy A of cheese on my potato too, so it was just like having cheese savory, lovely!
Syns today I think will be going on a m&s iced raspberry bun (7.5) and maybe a couple of thorntons continentals, going to allow myself about 15 syns today seeing as there'll be family around etc.0lbs/18lbs to get to club 100 -
*week sure does suck! Mine have been going absolutely mental, nearly once every two weeks
so i'm never sure of a true weight really. Going home from uni soon, so will sure get that sorted out!
I'm also a wanter of the Wii Fit. Although I can't really justify it at around £90 for the whole lot. I looked on ebay and they don't go that much cheaper really. It really depends on how much your gym membership is a month, I think I would probably stick to the gym option. However, if you get bored of the Wii Fit, you could always sell it on ebay, for not much of a loss! Hmmm, choices, choices....
I'm trying to do a meal plan for the whole week. I'm spending way too much on food so I want to spend the least amount of money possible this week. Might need a bit of inspiration though haha.
Does anyone have any tips for making pasta exciting for cheap?? I've got some Sainsburys Light Tomato and Herb Pasta Sauce (could someone look up the syn value for me please?) and wanted to make it more filling, rather than just plain pasta and tomato sauce.

Hi everyone!
Well I have been a bad girl again. Mothers Day started for me last night when I had some pink fizzy wine and far too many pringles! Then this morning I had breakfast in bed ( fruit bowl :A & pate on toast :eek: ) and we're just about to go for dinner!
I know I need to lose weight and I want to but I know I don't scrub up too badly when I make the effort if you know what I mean, got about 2.5 stone to lose but I can cover it up most of the time. It's weigh in tomorrow and I really don't want to go because it's only my 2nd week and I'm sure I've put on again. . . .it's embarrasing. Will pluck up the courage to go though and stick to it 100% next wekk and prove (to myself if noone else!) that I can actually do it.
Have a good day all0 -
:hello: Hi all, back again - been busy this last few days.
Off to Edinburgh at some stupid time of the morning tomorrow so I pray there's something healthy to eat for brekkie at the airport/on the plane or I can wait until we get to the apartment & aftre I go shopping!
Have packed my frylight and some pudding rice :rotfl: & will endeavour to stick to SW while I'm away but with OH out all day & away a night or two (up north) then I may succumb as there's a domino's opposite the apartment
Will be trying to have some red days but will be limited to meat & veg meals as I won't have my dishes for cottage pie etc or my spices/herbs with me and I'm not buying more just to leave them behind! Pasta & rice would be so much easier but hey ho!
I know already we're going for a Thai with his work colleague tomorrow night - anyone got any low syns thai choices? (I haven't been to a Thai restaurant before as a month in Thailand actually put me off for life but I'm hoping like Chinese it's a bit westernised)
