I would never do that lol, but how many squirts are free?

I had bacon, egg and mushrooms for bf using about 5 sprays. Is that too much? I've got a new frying pan so perhaps don't need so much but I always worry it's all going to 'stick'.

Also after my huge blowout Friday night (probably about 80 syns ) am I right to keep to minimal syns for a few days to make up for it?

    Many thanks xx

It is free, so use as many squirts as you need to cover the food with a thin layer. Depends how much food there is - if it's an oven-tray full, I'd probably use about 10 squirts, less volume of food needs less squirts.

It's often easier to use and count your syns over a week instead of each day. That way you start out with 70 (or whatever your normal limit is) and count down. If you've had a complete blow-out as your Friday night was, lol, I would just forget it and move on. Hopefully you'll have learned something from it and won't be in any hurry to do it again :)

The danger with trying to make up for it by doing without syns for the rest of the week is that you'll feel deprived and pack in altogether.

    Hope that helps.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Thanks so much consultant :) My blow out on Friday was because I had been ill all week and usually when I'm ill I eat and eat and eat! I'd managed to stop myself until then but was just so fed up! Up until this week I'd only been having about 3-4 syns a day - until I read on here that it's best to use them all up :o so I probably had my 3 weeks worth in one day lol. I have to say that since I have been doing sw I haven't felt deprived atall - which is good considering I used to eat loads of chocolate several times a week. I'm enjoying eating lots of different fruits to which I would normally (have always been a banana girl :p). Only thing I'm finding is that I'm visiting the toilet so many times a day (presumably the water from the fruit) and when I wake up in the mornings I'm bursting lol. I know I don't drink enough water though so must work on that - then I'll be spending half my life in the loo :rotfl:

    Hello!

I wonder if someone can help, i have fallen off the SW wagon, i haven't been for over a month, have had a difficult time with the sudden death of a couple of friends and some other bits, i tried to keep going but i just couldn't do it. Does anyone know how long i have to wait before i can rejoin? - it will be cheaper than paying my missed weeks iyswim. TIA x

-Well done to everyone you're all doing so well! x

Hello , I have been lurking for ages here, picking up hints and tips, and can't normally add much to help, but thought you might like this recipe I worked out for a chocolate cake for a tasting we had at group a few weeks ago.

It went down really well, and might be just the thing for next time, sorry I only get the digest so missed it yesterday :(

Can someone help me settle an argument with oh about having to buy lean meat please? He's insistant that I can use normal minced beef and just drain off the fat and it will be the same as lean mince, but I don't believe him lol
