Hello!
I wonder if someone can help, i have fallen off the SW wagon, i haven't been for over a month, have had a difficult time with the sudden death of a couple of friends and some other bits, i tried to keep going but i just couldn't do it. Does anyone know how long i have to wait before i can rejoin? - it will be cheaper than paying my missed weeks iyswim. TIA x
-Well done to everyone you're all doing so well! x
Sorry to hear you've had such a rough time - maybe if you call your consultant and explain she might empathise and let you just go back without having to pay? Or at least she'll be able to tell you when you can rejoin. Big hugs and lots of luck xxSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

Hi Dazzle, you can rejoin SW whenever you want to! Financially it makes sense after you have missed a couple of classes to just rejoin rather than pay for all the missed classes. People do it all the time, especially in the summer when they have gone away for long holidays.

Can someone help me settle an argument with oh about having to buy lean meat please? He's insistant that I can use normal minced beef and just drain off the fat and it will be the same as lean mince, but I don't believe him lol
though a someone from my old slimming world class used to eat tesco value mince and still managed to lose

Weigh-in today and lost another 1 lb which I was surprised at as I lost 4 lbs last week so thought wouldn't lose any this week :j
And........... only 1.5 lbs to go to my Club 10 target
I have also started looking at wedding dresses as apparently 6 months is leaving it a bit late. Dont they understand that I wanted to lose some weight first!!!
Well done to all this week's losers and stsers
Cobblers - they only want you to make a snap decision. I nearly fell for it too.
Most wedding dresses are ready in 16 weeks (4m - you have to have it earlier than your wedding date in case of adjustments needed - especially if the shop don't have a seamstress on site) but the shop I bought mine in said they can ALWAYS do a rush order, so it's no problem! Mine will be delivered within 12 weeks (3m) from date of order - and then I still have 6 weeks in order to lose more weight - I can have it taken in until 2 days before the wedding as they do it all in the shop.
It can take time to get round all the shops though so do start now so you at least know the style you want - it's not hard to spend a minimum of 4 hours in each shop!0 -
Hi all!!
Could I please join you? This is my first ever post on this forum, have been lurking for months though, it has got quite addictive!
Anyway, I'm joing SW tonight at 6pm, little bit scared as to what the scales will say as I seemed to have not stopped eating over winter. Already got a lot of tips and inspiration from reading this thread so thought I'd join in case I need a kick up the bum0 -

Quite right - have you guys tried low low cheese? It tastes like normal strong chedder and you can have 42 or that or 2 slices from the sliced packs! It is almost all I use now:jWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
