I bought a new camera yesterday, OH took a pic of me last night testing it out and the result has finally given the motivation I need to sort out my weight! In the pic I looked about 5 months pregnant with a shiny face and fat arms, oh the shame!

I've had porridge for breakfast, an egg sarnie and flapjack for lunch, and will cook some tomato pasta for tea.

I also did 30 minutes of an aerobics DVD this afternoon, I'm knackered now!

I wish I had taken photos when I started. I bet it will be a real motivator esp when the going gets tough
  • Hi there people,
I've been reading a lot of your threads to help me with my slimming world diet. I'm trying to do it on my own as I work very long hours and don't have the time to visit a class.
Could anyone help me........ is semolina free on the extra easy diet? The reason I ask is I know pasta, rice and couscous are and isn't semolina the same sort of food?
    Would appreciate and advice :hello:

Yes I did get it - I love it too! I have done SW chips, roast vegetables, low fat sausages, potato wedges, and all sorts in it - I only used half of the spoon of oil with the chips and the wedges and found there was plenty for our family of four - so very SW friendly!

I think you will find it is 250 ml - the same as the other 1% fat - The One and Sainsburys 1% are both listed as 250 mls under HEB

    Hi Consultant31

Any time I emailed my consultant (to say if I couldn't make it)she never acknowledged it, and told us she would not be phoning us to chase us up. If we wanted advice we could phone her. Which is fair enough.

She was so different to the original woman we had who would give you a midweek call to see how you were getting on.

Consultant did send me a letter last week saying club now closed and I emailed her again.

I'm going to have a go myself and see how I get on.

    Lola

Your original Consultant sounds a much better sort than the other one - no wonder the group folded :(
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
