Dried fruit is high in syns.

I should have stuck to no syns yesterday instead of having about 25 syns worth of doritos :o I work my syns as 105 for the week so am well under but still wish I hadn't eaten them:(

    Today;

B-usual 3 weetabix [both heb] milk [hea] coffee [milk from allowence]

L-Carrot soup with extra veg + sweet chilli rice

T-More Carrot soup as made loads, extra veg, rice & thought about adding a bit of pasta to make my own mugshot :T

No syns AGAIN so must think of something [NOT Doritos]. Have drunk 500ml of water already but can't drink any more as am busting & can't keep off loo :o it might not sound alot but for me whos drinks next to nothing its like drinking a bucketful lol.

I haven't had any fruit this week but when I am at work there is so much fruit available that I'm always eating it.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

When I've been craving sweet things I have found diet cherry cola effective at both filling me up and satisfying the craving. (I never used to drink anything fizzy, but use pop for this when I'm on SW).

However I did not have a bottle to hand tonight, so ended up nibbling quite a bit, a normal bag of crisps, a couple of ginger nut biscuits, a fondant fancy, the list goes on...but have had SW friendly meals today, so it could have been worse...back on the wagon tomorrow!

Im off out tonight for dinner then a surprise 40th birthday n a pub in Glasgow. Ill try and make SW friendly decisions with dinner and drink G&T or voddy instead of wine or beer. Not sure where we are going for dinner as its the other couples choice, ive a feeling its Kama Sutra (really nice Indian) as thats one of their faves. I like dry tandoori dishes so Ill try and have something like that. Ill probably be too stuffed to drink much more after an Indian, Id rather go somewhere for a light meal.

We are staying in a hotel for the night too as we stay in the middle of no where so it costs a fortune to get home in buses and taxis (more than the hotel ) , mum and dad have the wee ones for the night so really looking forward to it. Can anyone tell ive not been out since Dec 27th? A night out is very rare.

Im of to get my hair cut now. Its currently quite long and half way down my back, Its been like that for years. Havnt told oh im thinking of getting it cut into a funky bob, so it will be a surprise when I get home later.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good morning everyone! I am actually going out tonight too - first time in ages as well:beer: I don't normally drink because of the syns involved but will be having some wine tonight. It is BYO and I have a bottle of red wine to take. I am confused on working out the syns because on line the syns are in ml and on the bottle the measure is in cl. Can anyone tell me roughly how many syns in a bottle of wine? I don't want to take a measuring cup with me and measure each glass:rotfl::rotfl:! Although going by past history it will probably end up being the whole bottle:o:D

    Cheers
    Marion:)

    Morning Marion and everyone.

I think that a centilitre (cl) is 10 millilitres (ml) so a 75cl bottle of wine would be 750 millilitres. I would hang fire though until somebody else confirms (or rubbishes) this!
    Enjoy your evening!

Im sure a bottle of wine is 27 syns. All flavours lol. Im sure Someone said its about 24 then someone corrected me a while back and said 27 so I decided to go with 26 to be on the safe side.It is high and I love my red wine but tonight im going to try and limit the damage and stick to spirits which Im not a fan of. I dont enjoy a vodka and diet coke but I like to savour that first nice beer or wine.

Enjoy your wine and enjoy your night out x
