  • Congrats wendy.

I have a feeling that fish and chips, dessert, birthday cake and wine will probably not make for a good WI next week :) am going to have to get working hard to get rid of that little lot (friend's 40th). We did have a fab time though :) but I think even flexible syns won't cover it :) Still as scarlett said, tomorrow is another day. Or make that today by now ...

Extra Light Mayonnaise, Only 3% Fat, 1 level tbsp ½
Salad Cream, Extra Light, 1 level tbsp 1

That surprises me actually as I thought the salad cream would be lower!

Well I had a lovely dinner last night

we had the M&S dine in deal
Scallops with lemon butter we added rocket and crisped parma ham.
Main - rack of lamb with pesto and pine nuts (omg, it was so soft like butter), roasted med veg and new pots.
Pud - melt in the middle choc puddings with custard.
Bottle of sparkling wine and we shared the wee box of chocs.

I was good all day until the dinner as I was going to flexi syns it, but I lost count so god knows what the overall syns were. But it was a gorgeous meal.

    On track today
B - kippers with scrambled eggs and toast
L - baked tattie with pasta n sauce, salad
D - Mince and tatties, veg
ill keep syns to a minimum, ill avoid spread on my toast and try and use harldly any gravy granuals to thicken mince.

Hope you all have a nice romantic day.:smileyhea

I thought the salad cream would be lower too. I love salad cream even the light stuff is nice, but I despise ex light mayo, I think it smells like paint.:p

  • Morning!! :)

Omg, i made the mistake of having a j20 yesterday!!! i had the smaller bottle which is 6 syns!! My mum drank some of it but i easily had 5 syns worth!! Eek!

    Yesterday - EE
B - shredded wheat (HEB) with Milk (HEA) followed by banana and onken ff yog

L - Pub lunch - Jacket potato with beef chilli and huge mixed salad :) not sure on the syns but the chilli was not at all oily! It tasted like the one i make with lean mince :) Also had a j20 - i forgot myself for a second and as i really fancied one i ordered it without even thinking about the syn value.. until i got home and looked it up in my food directory... eek! (5syns)

D - brother was home from uni so had a SW friendly curry night!! I made a chicken tikka masala with spices, tomato puree and yoghurt, served with boiled rice, mini onion bhagis (From morrisons 3 syns each), Poppadoms (2.5 syns each) naan bread (4.5syns per 28g) and HM syn free cucumber raitha (ff natural yog, mint sauce, chopped cucumber and mint)

i had 1 onion bhagi (3 syns), 2 and a half poppadoms (allowed 7syns) and a really measley amount of naan bread (prob about 20g?? allowed 4 syns)

so thats 14 syns and with the j20 thats 19syns plus any hidden ones in my pub lunch!! Eek! lol.

    Today will be (Red day)

B - 28g instant porridge with low sugar jam (0.5syns) with ryvita (HEB1) with Milk (HEA1), banana and yog.

    L -Chicken breast and vegetables

D - Egg on 1 slice wholemeal toast (heb2) with 3 rashers of lean bacon with fruit salad for dessert :)

Snack - 1 slice of wholemeal toast with exlight laughing cow cheese (HEB2 and HEA2) packet of french fries (4.5syns)

Thats 5 syns... not a lot i know but i'm balancing out!!! lol
All hail to the sale!!!!!!
