I picked up a Rosemary Connally mag last night as the SW one isnt out yet for the public (my consultant didnt have any with her on Wed and I felt it wasnt appropriate to ask) I was reading all the success stories and it all looks good, I couldnt be doing with all the weighing and counting everything, but I like the thought of doing an exercise class along with the diet. I just cant build up the courage to go to an aerobic class for the first time. I always feel as though everyone knows all the moves and im all uncoordinated at the back.
If SW did an exercise class though I would def go. Id feel more at home as it would be aimed at women (and men) of all abilities and sizes.
Does anyone know if you can do the Rosemary C classes without paying for the diet part too. Does that make sense lol?

Their ribs are fabulous!:D:D:eek: I havn't been for a while but I don't remember the menu being particularly SW friendly. I suppose you could order a salad and bring your own low syn dressing? Or flexible syn and enjoy yourself - as long as it is not a regular occurance you should be ok. Be real good for the rest of the week but continue to have your syns as normal. Life happens!

Thanks Marion - I'm just going to be flexi and enjoy lunch, i shall report back later! it's a difficult few days, having an early valentine's meal in the house on saturday as we're spending Sunday with OHs parents. not exactly romantic! then we're away for dinner on monday night before going to see Dave Gorman! I will need to be 100% good from Tuesday and be careful over the weekend. :)

    Lol, that's me to a T :D

I doubt that they do an excercise only session at the RC groups. The only thing I know about them is that the franchise costs an absolute bomb - somewhere in the region of £4000 I think, which is proboaly why there aren't too many around.

As for the SW magazines, I've had mine in group for the last fortnight so I can't understand why they're not in your group yet!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I joined a step class a few years ago, it was meant to be beginners and the leader was shouting out instructions at 100 miles an hour and everyone was following, I was 4 steps behind the whole way through. I then got shouted at in a pilates class because I had to stop for a sec. I do like the idea of a class as I hate the gym and classes are more enjoyable, but my experiences have never been positive. I must try a different place.

My consultant didnt have anything with her this week as shed had bad news. Ill try and wait til Wed to get it, but I love getting it straight away.

  • Two and a half pounds off last night... the half is important lol! Couldn't stay for the class but glad it's going in the right direction. I think I've undone most of my good work though as there was an empty bottle of wine in the living room this morning. Oops!

    Hi All :)

I finally took the plunge and joined SW on Wednesday.

Trying to get into the swing of things and have been reading through the post`s here.

Weighed in at 13st and got a long way to go but feeling quite positive, although trying to get my head round the program at the moment.

Until I plan out my week I`ve just cooked a chicken in the slow cooker to tide me over till I go out food shopping.

great to hear everyones losses!!!! keep it up! :)
didnt get round to making the speed soup yesterday, but had chicken casserole with mash and petit pois & carrots for dinner.
i calculated the syns to be around 10.

    today:
BF: Handful strawberries and cupa tea! (not feeling hungry!)
L: Salad -- Lettuce, Onion, Peppers, 2 Hardboiled Eggs, Pasta Salad {used 2 tbsp ex.lite mayo & 1 Tbsp Sweet chilli sauce, red onion and red pepper} (3 syns for entire portion - i had 1/3 portion, so estimating 1 syn!!?)
Chicken Goujons (5 syns), cold savoury rice, slice ham. 2 tbsp mayo as dressing (1 syn)
    syn total for lunch: 7syns

think i am going to make my mushy pea curry for dinner tonight, so that will be free, and leave me with enough syns to have a couple drinks tonight! :)
    Carla-Farla!! :)
