Had a better day again so hopefully WI tomorrow won't be too bad.
My prob at the mo is that I am on steroids and due to my asthma being MEGA out of control any exercise over walking upstairs to the toilet (which leaves me like a 70 yr old smoker:() is a no no. The steroids increase my appitite hugely :eek:I was hoping for some suggestions for low syn nibbles.
I am living on fruit at the mo so I don't hit the remaining xmas sweets who are calling me from the top of the cupboard.
Also is there a limit as to the amount of fruit you can eat? I am having 6-7 pieces a day.
B - yogurt and fruit
L - bacon beans and eggs on toast (how can you eat this and diet) HEb
D - fresh salmon mashed potato mixed veg
HEa - milk (for in tea and in mash)
3 apples 2 pears 1 banana some water melon
gingerbread bic 1 1/2 syns
asda curley crisps 3 1/2 syns
mmmmm feel a bit peckish again

Hi, can I jump in on this thread please?
Have been over on the Lose weight thread but have just found you! They are all doing well over there but I need some SW help!!
I've been doing SW for 5 weeks and have lost 15.5 lbs and am in need of some inspiration for different foods. Somedays I find myself eating the same things I had the day before, and it can get a bit boring.
I've 3 kids, 11 years, 20 months and nearly 4 months and guess I just haven't had time to go through the SW books for more ideas. So am looking forward to reading as much of this post and getting some new ideas!!:j0 -
Hi everyone
Yesterday was a good day for me. Today however I've been a bit picky so I decided to make a lasagne for tea.
I based the recipe on the one in the magazine with a couple of tweaks (less tomatoes & added parmesan to the yogurt/egg mix- I have to have a cheesy sauce!!)I have to say it was lovely. I was dubious about the white sauce but it was very tasty.
I'm glad I reduced the quantity though if not it wouldn't have fit the pan!
Good luck on the weigh ins this week, I've got mine tomorrow.Fingers crossed.

I also made the lasagne from the mag today and I'm not sure about the topping. It tastes exactly like what it is - savoury yogurt custard.I would rather use some syns on a proper bechamel sauce and have an hea of cheese on it myself.Glad I tried it though cos I've seen it suggested as the topping for mousakka and I think it would fit that better. Each to their own I spose!:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p

I don't think the Schwartz cheese sauce packets are too bad for syns if you serve 4 with them - well worth it - I use them & the carbonara ones

Good morning to you all.... well done on all the losses and a hug for everyone who gained
i weighed myself this morning and have lost 1.51b this week so im pleased.
im still trying to get my head round the extra easy days.
i want to make some chips. I have an Actifryer, so can i have them in there, but i dont think that i can boil them first as the potato has to be patted dry so that they crisp up.
also can anyone tell me the syn value of schwartz cheese n chive potato bake... thankyou
hope you all have a great day xslimmimg world weight loss 6lbs

As SC just posted a cheese sauce is 7 syns so i would imagine your cheese and chive one would be around the same 7/8 syns for the packet.8 Syns on Extra Easy

I dont have an Actifry myself but ive seen a few people on here using them, they simply cook the chips as normal with 1 tbsp of oil and syn the oil, I think thats 6 syns or 1 heb , you could divide that if your sharing the chips or cooking less.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Good Morning!!! :j
Last night made the sweet chilli chicken from the mag (0.5 syns per serving had 4 syns worth lol) - was lovely. Had that with HM seasoned potato wedges(cayenne pepper, paprika, salt and pepper) roasted in the oven for about half hour. Yum!
yesterdays lunch was chicken salad, with seafood sticks, mullerlight yog and fruit for snacks
Breakfast was 28g of plain puffed wheat (my friends SW consultant said without sugar can be had as HEB?) with milk (HEA) I dont think that was too bad for an EE day
I wanted to fit in a snack bag of milky way magic stars (3.5syns) but i was too full!
Today
Puffed wheat (HEB) (only 16g today coz i weren't that hungry) with a cup of tea with milk (HEA)
got fat free onken yog with strawberries for elevenses and i got some seafood sticks and boiled eggs for lunch
Tonight tho I'm going La Tasca with my girlfriends. . so i'm gonna have a flexi syn day methinks lolAll hail to the sale!!!!!!
