    karen - some own brands are free but not all - you need to check each individually. Shape Fuller for Longer and Activia Fat free are free too so between these two and mullers there are usually one of them on a good offer somewhere.

    Right, Ive been thinking about this...you can tell im sleep deprived!! If any of the recepies im looking at are free on a green or a red day, they would also be free on an EE day too? I could then add say rice to a curry/ bolognaise meal or chicken to a pasta dish? and have an EE day? Only difference is the HE.s?

    Angela - correct. If the syn values differ on red & green days then you take the lower syn value for EE.

    yes thats right. You can have chilli with rice, lamb curry with rice, roast potatoes and roast beef etc. Same rules apply , keep the meat lean and remove poultry skin. Only difference is having the one hea and one heb. The 1/3 supperfree veg etc is also just to speed up your weightloss, so dont worry if everymeal doesnt have that much, especially if you are still eating plenty of fruit etc through the day.
    You can also snack on foods that are free on both plans.

    Hiya, registered with my local class last night and was horrified at what I weigh!!

    I've got till October to lose around 3 stone, so I know it's doable ~ trouble is, I just can't get my head around the plans at all!

    Is it these? The other fajita strips are free but I can't see anything else;

    I hope you dont think im nagging you, I just want to make life easier for you. Sw is really easy as there is virtually no weighing and counting.

    It's fine, your not nagging at all :D I appreciate all the great advice given :):)
    Everyone's been so helpful on here, so thanks everyone!! :j:j

    Green Day:
    L - Scrambled egg, Heinz spaghetti & 2 Wholemeal Toast (HeB) + 250 ml Milk (HeA)
    D - Vegetable Risotto with Quorn Pieces + olive oil (HeB)
    Snacks - Apple, Grapes & Muller Light + 1/4 of a homemade cookie. It was pretty flat, but had a chocolate chips in so i'm going to have a guesstimate at about 3 syns.
    Todays Total - 3 syns
    It also was the first time I had made risotto, and it was delicious! I had peas, carrots, onion, garlic and peppers in it, along with quorn peices. I even couldn't eat it all, as it was soooo filling. Delish :D

    I love risotto. We can't afford to go out for Valentines so OH said he'd make his famous mushroom risotto - I could eat it all week! :D
