    Can anyone help.

I am starting back on the SW diet after putting on 7lbs over xmas  and want to lose an additional 4 before my hols in June. I think pasta n sauces used to be free, is this still the case? Can anyone advise?

    Thanks
  • thanks for the advice everyone, and to nic2075 for the missing syn values :)

I'm glad to hear the rissotto rice is free, i'm just going to be using all vegetable stock instead of adding a glass of white wine to it.

I'm sure that I read somewhere that OXO cubes are now 0syns, am I right or is it just wishful thinking?

I think I figured out the trigger to my bread induced binge, and it was TOM. Damn you TOM!! and i'm nearly out of painkillers :( neverminddddd

Today's meal has gone so much better that the last two, i'm very proud of myself :D
Green Day - Didn't wake up till 2pm again (ahhh the student life :p hehe) so I had a breakfast/lunch at 3 and will eat dinner later on in the night.

Is there a SW guideline for waking up late? should you eat all 3 daily meals, or only the ones your actually awake for?

B/D - Baked potato, with a monster salad that included:
2 carrots, cucumber, peppers, iceburg lettuce, spring onions, beetroot, pickled onions with a slight drizzle of Sainsburys BGTY low fat french dressing. (I think that this is 0syns?) Had a 56g portion of tinned tuna (1/2 HeB [can I do this??] ) with 2 tablestspoons of Asda Light Mayo (4 syns)

Had an apple before eating and had a banana afterwards.

Now for tea (depending on how hungry I am) I'm either going to have vegetable risotto, or have scrambled egg on toast (HeB) and another apple. Still no HeA though, I had it in my mind that eggs were in there, might stick some cheese in the scrambled eggs or the risotto to make up for that.

Also just a few quick questions, SW free chips, can I keep the skin on and it still be free? I know this may be a slight silly/simple question, but how do you poach an egg :o?

Also, I wanted to have a Red day tomorrow, and have a full english for breakfast, what would I put on my plate? I thought back to the last one I had and I can't think of anything in a full english except bacon and tinned tomatoes :rotfl:

Once again, thanks for all your helpful advice :D

    Hi,

I can help with the poached egg. They are yummy. You can either by a poacher which is like a flying pan which you pour water in and then crack the eggs on the plate/dish provided then fly/boil them. Or boil some water in a pan, crack an egg into the pan and it will cook and all the egg whites will go white and fluffy. I find a poacher easier to use.

The breakfast, eggs, quorn sausages, mushrooms yummy

I'm still staggered! As I'm lazy I did the Easy plan instead of red/green days (never used to lose on the green days but I like variety!) so was really surprised at the amount that came off.

Will keep up the good work for next week!

The Consultant has no right to 'want' anything from you. She may encourage you, but should never put pressure on. In future I would tell her that I will aim to lose 1 or 2 lbs next week.

You did very well this week, I hope you're pleased and proud of yourself :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
