No, I do too - it's rank! TBH I'm not keen on Options either :rotfl:
Curley wurly is a good one - takes forever to eat and is only 6 syns (std size).0 -

I see your point Catt, but it's pressure and not everyone responds well to it, especially a new member. If they don't manage the 2½ lbs expected of them, it's possible they won't go back to group because of being 'shown up' to the other members. Memebers are meant to make their own mini targets, not have it made for them, in the same way as you make your own final target (PAT).
PS: I love my Options - the sweeter the better, lol. I agree about the Curly Wurlys too....yum!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Wow, what a feat! I don't think i'd be able to stop completely, but i'm going to wean myself off bread slowly. Anyways, when this loaf runs out, i'm just not going to buy any bread, and that should soon sort that out :rotfl:
Just a question though, what do you put eggs on/with if your having a breakfast? I assume you have salads for lunch instead of sandwiches, yes?
thanks for the information, I never thought it as holding water and slowing weight loss downSlimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

I gave up bread the first time I did SW and I lost a ton very quickly. Now I only eat on average a couple of slices per month - if I'm ever able to find Nimble White again anyway!
You have your egg with baked beans or bacon in the morning if you don't have toast!
And there's a million things for lunch without it - noodles, leftovers, pasta, savoury rice, soup, varing salads, jacket potato's, etc etc!0 -

If you're still desperate for a choccie hit, try a hot choc Options. I find the Turkish Delight one is lovely and sickly and hits the spot nicely.
Thanks consultantI have flossed, scrubbed and mouthwashed to stop myself eating again tonight and have spent the last hour in the bath and got into PJs to stop myself going to the shop. Hoping it works.
I'm trying to do that thing of reflecting on why I am wanting to eat like this - I think it's partly that I haven't exercised and this puts me in the wrong frame of mind. But definitely partly an 'I deserve it' thing. Still feeling a bit depressed about DH being away and somehow I'm turning to chocolate to comfort myself and to 'reward' myself for coping without him. which all sounds really lame and cliched. I'm recognising the emotions but not really sure where to go about doing something about it. Except that I am def going to the gym tomorrow and I'm going to do a run no matter if it makes my hair look like I've put my finger in a socket
WI tomorrow night and even with the desperate slide off the wagon I should have lost 1lb. Got 24 hours to make up for the bad 24 - here goes
Oh and PS on the bread issue, I do pretty much always have my HEBs as bread but I reverse proportions now - so 2 boiled eggs with one slice of toast, half a tin of beans with one slice of toast etc. Sandwiches are dead I'm afraid, but never liked them that much anyway0 -

If you look up at the top left hand side of the board, you'll see where it says the number of times the thread has been viewed. Can you see a blue square with a white tick in it, just to the right of that? If so, click on that when you visit the board and it will take you to the first unread message. Saves loads of time!0 -
Evening all,
Fab losses going on here at the moment, well done all. I am stuck in that 'eating the same HEAs and HEBs all the time' rut, hoping to find some inspiration soon. And the lure of the choc bar is strong...
Back to your porridge, Marion - I remember you saying you felt 28g wasn't much; I agree, and I find if I make it up with water and leave it overnight, then add the yog/fruit in the morning, there seems to be a bit more of it. I know it's just water really but seems like a bigger bowlful!
(Champneys the health spa people serve it like this except with nuts and seeds, too and call it summer porridge, I heard)0 -

for breakfast, I have a poached egg with a quorn burger or small piece of fish - those rectangulr blocks of cod or coley you can get from the supermarket frozen section. I have never found cereal filling enough in the morning and prefer a 'free bkfast' to leave options for later.
Today: bkfast - egg & quorn burger
lunch: 113g lentils (HEb) 28g feta(HEa), 1tsp mint jelly (synned)
snack 2 x ryvita with low fat hummous(both synned) & 2 x quorn sausage
dinner: baked pork chop, sweet corn (synned) & onions & char grilled auberine
snack: mango
bedtime: 2x weetabix(HEB) & milk(HEA)
I am not quite on top of counting my syns thoroughly but am gettingthere slowly: I need to do a big shop to get the right combo of foods in rather than needing to use up what I have left.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
