You did very well this week, I hope you're pleased and proud of yourself
I'm very pleased though - I didn't see how the Easy plan could work, but it seems to be so far!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!

WI last night,
-2lb which put me on my first half stone and I got slimmer of the week!! :j:j:j
I'm pretty surprised TBH as I got totally smashed on saturday night on vodka and coke. I accidentally ordered a few "fat" cokes and ate a big pile of toast the next morning to try to get rid of the hangover...
I bet I gain this week after my lucky escape last week :rotfl:0 -
Autumnflower, I too am a bread fiend, but I have found that bread in particular seems to hold a lot of water once eaten and weight losses slow down accordingly. Therefore, I have given up bread altogether. It was hard at first, but now, even though I bake my own, I never (ever) have even a slice and it doesn't bother me at all. Like most things, after a while it becomes a habit to not have bread and my weight losses were/are usually very good.
I do think that although no foods are banned with food optimising, you have to find what works (or doesn't work) for you and as you seem to have realised yourself, 6 or 7 slices of bread a day is excessive. As others have said, use extra potatoes and veg to bulk out your meals so that you don't need bread. Any bread you do have should be wholemeal - which made it easier for me to give up as I don't like wholemeal at allI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
She says that to everyone though - if they say they will aim for a 1lb loss she always says 'no, 2lb' and never accepts anything less - I said I would aim for 2lb this week but she said 2.5 lb would take me to half a stone in 2 weeks which I know will be a 'landmark', but it does make you feel under pressure!

dont feel pressured weekks when you feel pressured you wont lose as much as you want to i when i started lost 11lb in two weeks and one of those was in fuerteventura - i wasnt worrying last week i was tense and nervouse and panicking and i only lost 1lb

What the heck is wrong with me? WI tomorrow night and I should lose 2lb but I'm sabotaging myself. Please someone give me some words of wisdom!!
Belfastgirl - STEP AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE........NOW!!!
If you're still desperate for a choccie hit, try a hot choc Options. I find the Turkish Delight one is lovely and sickly and hits the spot nicely.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I'm glad you're pleased but if you don't care for the pressure, you really should tell her. She has been trained to put members at their ease, without pressure or humiliation and she should be following her training. I'm sorry to rant, but it makes me cross when the guidelines are there for her to follow and she's choosing to do her own thing and making you (and probably others) feel uncomfortable.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

My consultant would say exactly the same as Sagris' in that situation - she's always pushing us which doesn't hurt - at the end of the week you can nly do what you can do. I'm sure she just thought an extra 0.5lb would be an incentive to get that half stone sticker.0
