thanks for the information, I never thought it as holding water and slowing weight loss down
I particularly lke the Ryvita Crackerbread (wholemeal) and you can have 6 of those for a HEB. However, I do get quite annoyed about the fact that they're the same price as the original one and you only get half as many
I think your idea of not buying bread will help you to cut down and yesterday's menu looked tons better - much more variety, which will keep you healthier tooI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Morning all,
I had a good day yesterday, I have a lovely dinner of chicken, wrapped in bacon with cherry toms under the bacon, served with thai chilli savoury rice and a big salad. The chicken was corn fed breasts that id got whoopsied in Asda 2 weeks ago and froze them, they were so tasty. Ive decided only to buy free range chicken if its whoopsied or rolled back. Its too expensive to buy normally and I refuse to buy the cheap chicken out of Asda as its all sinew and blood clots. If there none cheap then ill buy something else like turkey. Makes me sound like a snob, but im sick of food that tastes of nothing, or makes me boke when chopping it up.
Ive also been going to our local country butcher for meat as he is cheaper than the supermarket and can tell you where each piece came from.
today im having an Ee day
B - yoghurt and fruit
L - baked potato with spaghetti hoops, side salad
D - Grilled River cobbler with SW chips and peas.
S - more fruit and maybe another muller after dinner.
will have my toast as an heb for supper.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Brighton Belle - make sure you check those quorn burgers for syns - they're not all free!
Have a good day everyone! :hello:0 -
2.5lb loss last night meaning i've only got another 1/2lb to lose to reach my first half stone award!
Breakfast - boiled egg on toast with some tea
Lunch - chicken and savoury rice
Dinner - the boyfriend's cooking0 -
Thanks for that skint Catt! Will check when back home this afternoon.
Todays task is to avoid the biscuit tin at my mosaic workshop I attend every wed.:D. I've prepared lunch alreay for when I come home really hungry and then need to plan dinner .
Planning is definitely key for me, so the right food is quickly available when i need it.
Consultant -might have a look at those cracker breads, so thanks for the pointer there.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Have you tried the Hellmans Extra Light mayonnaise? It's only 0.5 syns per tablespoon and isn't really any different from normal or light stuff (granted it isn't cheap but lasts ages - I did try Tesco's own once and it was like jelly!)2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Morning,
Green day today:
B: Asda OSS (HEB + 1.5)
L: Chicken Mugshot, pear, yogurt
T: Meat free burgers (1), SW chips, beans
S: Milk (HEA), grapes, maybe toast and a bit of butter for supper (HEB + 2), fun size choc bar (4.5)
Today's menu is a bit more processed than I'd like and doesn't contain much veg, but got a busy day (physio before work, seminar after work and forgot to make double portions of risotto last night for lunch today, doh!). Will do better tomorrow though!!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Hmm, lots of naturally slim people think this is the case, but I also think there are lots of overweight people who think it's the only way too. Whereas, we Slimming Worlders know that just the opposite is true and the more we eat, the more we loseI let my mind wander and it never came back!0
