Ours is high due to Pint loving brand names and me not. I keep telling him not to but he doesn't listen *sigh* Just had to tell him off for watching !!!!!! on my PC. Last time he did it got a virus, wouldn't open and had to be re-installed. F*cking men.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

spud - slow cookers are fab, just chuck anything and everything in it. I never bother browning meat before I get it going, I just lob it all in and switch it on. It's great for cheaper cuts of beef, pork shoulder chops, chicken thighs, legs, brisket joints etc. Stuff like tins of tomatoes and any herbs/spices you have and then random veg. are all you need
It's been a god send whilst teaching - I put it on in the morning for a joint or pop back at lunchtime if it's chopped meat or chicken thighs and it's just there when I crawl in late at night."Stay Wonky":D

I am a very angry Pap today! I stupidly got on the scales, and I have put on 8lbs! I have only been off the diet for 4 days  So now I am in a foul mood and cant be doing with anything  So I am lurking but sulking  :rotfl:
Don't be angry pap. It's going to take your body some time to get used to food again and has probably gone into emergency shut down! I guess this is the problem with stuff like CD, the body has had a shock and needs to re-adjust.
Keep remembering that on a daily plan of 1200 (I think you are on this one?) you will still lose weight but you might need a week or so before your body gets used to it. CD (the extreme plans) can't be a lifelong plan and you're doing it the right way by re-introducing food gradually.
So says she who needs to lose more stone than some people weigh, probably best to just ignore me "Stay Wonky":D

I've just had roast gammon, parsnips, potatoes, broccoli & carrots, followed by blackcurrant jelly
:D
I suppose a roast is a bit naughty as its only me but I just fancied one, I tend to spend £50 every other week or sometimes every 3 weeks if I can make it stretch, that's for everything though, food, washing / cleaning products / shampoo / sanitary products  / loo roll & I usually have it delivered save me getting stuff I don't need (like every type of chocolate thats on offer)
I just get milk & a bag of salad in between shops - I take a salad to work every day, not really a bread person, well only at weekends for a bacon sarnie
Just started using my slow cooker, made a sort of spicy beef stew the first week back to work - it wasn't too badDon't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -
Spud, if I can use a slow cooker anyone can! I was shocked how nice sp chicken legs and thighs were done in it. I just need to progress now from basic stews to something more tasty. And remember to label the portions.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
