*sammy dreams of running 20 miles at 4 hour marathon pace over the Northern hills...*:o
One day, one day
Yeah but just remember this is Becky who is totally committed to running 6 days a week Sammy and doesn't have a family. (thats not meant nastily Becks) so the chances of either of us ever doing that is....slim I guess. Although its very possible if you can fit it in
I too dream of running like that...for now I'll happily plod my 6 miles at 10-11 min milesI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I must confess that when you are broke cheap ready meals are appealing until you come to eat them.
Tomorrow I am going to treat myself to a few carrots and sprouts. And milk.
Going to walk to my friends's in a min to watch the skating whilst her oH is at the pub. Hopefully I wont get mugged on the way and her DD will bring me home when she fetches her Dad.
She will have the cork 9Or screw top :rotfl:) off any minute now so I'd better take some layers off (she has heat) and smarten up.
After tonight I will not be drinking.0 -
Totally agree Sammy...its crazy but I guess it just means you have to cut down on the amount you eat too. We have eaten a LOT of potatoes because I often find a bag reduced and you can do so many meals out of a 2.5kg bag :rotfl:. What I have found hard is trying to find cheap things to put in B's lunchbox as obviously I don't want her to eat carp but healthy things are expensive
and i didn't buy any juice...or biscuitss or crisps or anything....all that i got in the way of a treat was 3 creme eggs fell into my trolley...
but DD1 has eaten one of them:cool:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

All the more reason for Becky to enjoy it....cos she can...:T
I have decided to make more time for myself...no more of these excuses of why I can't get out to do a run. I will do some form of exercise every day unless my legs drop off....
I was pretty cross before because I wanted to go for a run outside and do a 10k circuit...OH only wanted to do 5k...so I thought ok..then it went from outside to lets go to the gym...(why? the sun is shining!) at this point I was wavering and thinking, is there really any point now....grrr....
But I thought no, I am going and I made him wait for me till I had done 6k...:rotfl:I was determined not to cut my workout short.
I have told DD that I will go to the gym with her tomorrow and if she doesn't want to go then thats her lookout.
I have also stopped running with runchums as it was getting hard to co-ordinate schedules with my OH being away..Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I spend lots of money of food - but I see it as very important to eat well and I'd rather go without other stuff (cant remember last time I had a hair cut
) to do so but I am lucky now I have paid off my debts because I have enough money to live off so am comfortable now month to month

I've just stuck dinner in the oven. Spanish chicken type thingy I've chucked together with rice. It's going to be ready for 7.30 and I'll tell OH. If he isn't here, he'll have to heat it up later. I can't eat later so I'm not going to.
It will feel weird eating at 7.30!!"Stay Wonky":D
