Hi, do you mind if I join in too please? Just done the job I really don't like - plan next week's food! Anyhow:-

M - pasta with DIY sauce and St Peter's Mud Pie
T - Irish stew and yogurt
W - fishcakes with veg and rice pudding
T - cheesy layer bake with sausages and yogurt
F - fish fillets with veg and fruit
S - sweet and sour chicken with rice and lemon meringue pie
S - crunchy veg crumble and crockpot apple pie

Problem is I do all this planning and don't end up using the food, so I really am going to try to be good. Wish me luck!!!!

I was away Friday and Saturday, and missed the delivery. OH has thrown out the receipt, and I can't remember what or why I ordered. I appear to have got some fresh ragu and a bought poultry gravy. Why???? Who knows. And a leg of lamb, when I'm not really supposed to be eating red meat. I got some long life milk, which puzzled OH, and he nearly sent it back, and then realised it was my emergency stock. So, based on vague memory of what we have in the freezer, here's a plan.

Saturday: OH cooked lasagne, I got some when I got home (Bedford to Bingley, 5 trains and 5 hours)
Sunday: roast lamb with rosemary and anchovy, greek-style lemony potatoes (low fat), green beans. HM nut roast for DD.
Monday: recycled roast dinner and nut roast, freeze any lamb still left
Tuesday: hm pizza with various toppings (incl some of the christmas gammon from the freezer)
Wednesday: spicy vegetable and lentil stew with crusty bread
Thursday: cottage pie using the other half of the mince OH dry fried last night, topping to be a potato & carrot mix, some sort of greens
Friday: curry, using either leftover lamb or the end of the christmas turkey from the freezer, rice, naan from a mix I've got, mild dhal for the children

This may well change as I get a better idea of what I've got/not got.
