MOGGINS...You could use the ipod to take your mind off the not smoking
You can download audio books or stick some of your music on for when you are doing the housework.
Dont see why the hubby should get all the benefit from your hard work.
Then you can say to him,
"What a good idea, just what I needed to keep my mind off the ciggies!"
Okay I know it doesn't solve the having spent the money .0 -

Think a storm must be brewing here as I feel all 'heady'
Didnt get much done today, I meant to call my doctors about my smear test results (been nearly 3 weeks now) how long do the results usually take?0 -
Afternoon everyone
I'm now back from my marathon trip to the passport office. My appointment was at 2pm, and I didn't actually get seen until 2.55pm! We'd been told that the longest that we would have to wait was 20 mins. I think not! I was relieved to get out of there!
Lucie - have you got your tickets yet?
I'm going up to my parents' house tomorrow night to iron out a couple of bits and pieces for the wedding, so I might not be online. I'm then going up to York for a friend's hen party. I'm staying at hers overnight and we're having a surprise champagne party, before having a meal out and then a night in a cheesy bar.
OH is down to Wiltshire to see his best man who is now in the country (he now lives in South Africa) and is visiting friends down there. OH is taking his sleeping bag and a strong constitution for his friend's drinking capactiy!
Anyway, I'd better go for now.

Lucie wrote:Not yet; just checked again & the website is still allocating us tickets along the side, rather than behind the goals. Plus it keeps trying to put us in row one, which is a bit low down, I prefer to do my rugby watching from up on high! I've emailed them & asked for behind the goals tickets, but I have to wait for them to wake up again before I get a reply.
Seems a bit silly that you can't choose where you want to sit. I'm a side person myself.......... but it's a different code (union). I also prefer to stand - but I used to stand right at the very very front to get a good view of the [STRIKE]legs[/STRIKE] action. :rolleyes:Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Why will I need some Alka Seltzer for a night at my parents' house?
Oh, I get it, you're talking about Saturday night. :rotfl: :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

I prefer to stand too, but this is an all seater stadium (The Suncorp in Brisbane). The problem I find with sitting right at the front is that you're almost "below" the pitch level. We sat in the front row at the Millennium Stadium a few years back & the view was rubbish.
I wish it would let me pick which section of the stadium I want to sit in, rather than just the price of the ticket. Anyway, could be worse, it could have sold out by now!!!0
