I prefer to stand too, but this is an all seater stadium (The Suncorp in Brisbane). The problem I find with sitting right at the front is that you're almost "below" the pitch level. We sat in the front row at the Millennium Stadium a few years back & the view was rubbish.

The 6th row at Twickenham is a good view. At the Millenium Stadium I was in a corner....... but surrounded by fellow fans is always the best place! Preferably very biased towards your team. :D

I am never ever ever making pea and ham soup this way again!

The entire day has revolved around it and it's turned out bloomin awfull. Not to mention the mess it made of my kitchen. Mushy peas kept boiling over despite being on lowest heat and totally covered my hob in thick green muck. and the worst thing being the 'soup' is tasteless. I've added two ham stock cubes and I still can't pass it off as soup. I'm going to try to 'rescue' it by adding some bacon pieces and cooking it through again, but tonight will be the old emergency standby of pasta and pesto!!! Nearly opted for the chippie - but then I remembered my budget :D
Haven't listed a single thing for ebay - it's been a real 'pants' day, in more than one way IYKWIM ;)

Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now... :(I will try to work it out.

    Aww, Kaz!!! ((hugs))

Actually, we lurve pesto pasta ;) It's a staple :D

You might be ok rescuing it with bacon pieces, if not, blitz it and call it stock :o;)

Some things you just have to put down to experience ... but I do have a fail safe recipe ... but I'll save that for another day when you aren't sick of the sight of pea and ham soup expectations

Crikey, twink, you're doing *very* well ... there are still times I serve up "burnt offerings" and try to pass them off as chargrilled

    (((((((((((Kaz))))))))))))

I must admit I've never heard of using mushy peas either, I've always used the yellow split peas.

Top marks for effort though :)

PP - Glad to hear OH feeling better.

ageandjo The dog story made me laugh:rotfl: :rotfl:

cha97michelle - enjoy the night out.

catowen - Hope you managed to sort the hair dye problem out.

moggins (((HUGS))) I'm sure we live with the same Man, though mines as just gone and bought bonsia trees with money we are saving for are new bathrom.

KazBetter look next time with the Pea and ham soup.

Been to work tody so not much oldstyle but the list is extensive for tomorrow.
I'm having to keep the back door shut at the moin and the rabbit is trying his best to get through the cat flap as he would normally be perched on the back of the sofa looking out of the window at this time but DD and Ds keep running in and out and I'm worried that he might escape and get hurt.

Got ticket for graduation today and have been lucky enough to be allocated four, so this means that mum, dad sis and OH can come now. I think it may be to stuffy for children so DD and DS will stay with mil, but have promised them a day out the day before.

OH and I have decide to go to Budapest or prauge for a few days after I graduated but feel mean as I'm not taking DD ( Ds will be in dublin with hius dad). Though I am planning a holiday later in the year for her.

enough of my ranting take care all

Well my "me" day has been fab - I've watched 2 films and countless episodes of friends (yes it's cheesy but easy to listen to whilst doing craft).

I've made 13 cards for my general stock to sell - 3 cards for birthdays coming up and started on some layered wording for my scrap book.

DH came home before I got chance to do tea....ooooops....so DD's had quasaladas thanks to Daddy and he's busy chopping up some veg for dips for us......(I'm not that hungry)

DD's are showered and watching the Big Cat programme at the mo and my glass has just been topped up.....I feel relaxed and refreshed...... I heartily recommend having a little bit of "me" time.
