  • Morning all,

Got back from Italy at 1030 last night after being stuck on the M25 for an hour and a half.

The wedding was lovely, in a beautiful setting with fantastic views as well. My brother is now honeymooning in Rome then travelling round Tuscany for 2 weeks, whereas I am back in blighty nursing mosquito bites and staring at the mountain of washing!!!!

Hoping to get back on track OS wise this week before we are off to the royal Marines Base in Portsmouth for a week with the band.

    Have a good day all.

Good morning all, just a very quick post.

Have glanced in a couple of times over the weekend, but no time to post.

Didn't sleep a wink last night but was too drained even to try getting up! Of course come 7 o'clock I could sleep for England! And neighbour starts up her mower at 7.30!! What's she cutting? Our lawns turned to straw ages ago, nothing is growing!!!! Rant over. Going to go try to clear my fuzzy head!

Hope everyone has good days and (((hugs))) if it's not going well.

i'm looking out the window and really hoping that the black clouds get bigger. it is really grey and overcast but the sun keeps trying to make a show. i am just in need of a dull day. i don't like summer too much. had an awful nighti was so restless doesn't feel like i slept for even a minute.

hubby has gone back to work after a week off and it is horrible. kids are playing with thier cars and trucks while watching tv.

were gonna make some cakes in a bit. going to make a shepards pie tonight. i have fallen of the O/S wagon lately. as last week we had a takeaway of some sort each evening due to being on holiday and i have 2 freezers full of food and 2 fridges full plus the cupboards so i need to do some bulk cooking and get stuff froze down before it goes off.

we had a major sort out of sheds and cupboard and drawers yesterday so i feel very clam now and not dreding opening a cupboard and everything landing on top of me.

Needmoney Love your garden. I enjoy working in the yard too. Get's a bit depressing when we have no rain though. I'm going to give veggies a whirl one of these days.

Thank you AussieLass, I like working outside too although my house is not dirty my garden is certainly looking better than it.

I don't pop in here very often as I don't feel as industrious as the rest of you:o

    Morning everyone - just about.

Slow one again for me. I stopped in bed till 10, not because i was asleep, but because it was lovely and cool, and i was so comfy. Absolute bliss. It looks a bit overcast here today.

We were stripping the wallpaper for hours last night, and i think i overdid it a bit. I feel bad leaving DH to do everything, but i think i will have to try and take it a bit easier. We still have the dining room part of the living/dining room to do, so Dh will do that one evening if i can do the border during the week. It's quite hard going though as there is one border on top of another, and it runs around the top of the wall, and one border has been painted over at some stage. I will just keep having the odd half an hour at it here and there, as i will still need to prepare food and keep on top of the housework as well.

I was hoping to avoid the supermarket till next week, but we have a lonely pack of mince in the freezer. I might make it stretch a couple of days, but i won't manage 7 out of it. Will have to plan this week out carefully i think.

This morning, banking done, i have last nights washing up to do, i want to have a bit of a tidy up of the kitchen again, and then i think most of the afternoon will be wall paper stripping.

Smashing blouse - i'm pleased you enjoyed the wedding. It's just what you needed after the past couple of weeks. I guess Vicky is enjoying italy now as we speak.

    Kiwichick - enjoy your hols

Best go get on before the day disappears from me.

    Michelle, xx

    Hello everyone,

I am back and married!! :j I had such a great weekend. There were a few things here and there that went a bit wrong. But hey, these things make the day special ;)

Everyone came and we had such a wicked party! Thanks for all your warm wishes.

Back at work today. We are going on our honeymoon next week... Feels a bit strange to be back at work already after the weekend just kind of flew by...

Ruby  what do you mean by *natural live yoghurt* please explain. :D Do you mean normal plain yoghurt without flavourings. I'm going shopping on Wed & I will get the ingredients. :j Welcome to OS btw. ;)

    Hello everyone else. :hello:

It's just labelled as natural live yoghurt - I usually get the 'Rachel's Organic brand' but I'm guessing you might not have that in Oz? It should be as natural (and organic) as you can get it and you should definitely look to see that it's 'live' as that will then contain the cultures/bacteria you require to produce your own. The yoghurt shouldn't contain any flavourings or preservatives.

    I'm sorry I can't be of more help :(
