Right! I must get on and do some work! I've just given DH and DD breakfast in bed, am going to stick the stereo on (with new big speakers) and fly around the living room.

Then I am going to try and persuade DH to take me to the Matalan sale complete with his credit card. I really need some new t-shirts and when I whizzed in on Friday to get DS's last bits for scout camp I found some lovely warm sweatshirts for £4 that will be ideal for DH for winter and work.

Must make a loaf of bread today as I want to try out my new slicer :D

Bit down in the dumps today. Had a week off and feel so lazy about returning to work - feels depressing. I love my job but its been so nice being off.

Today I have put the washing on then subsequently the drier and done some more of my assignment. Pressure is on as I am doing a years course in three months - must be bonkers, getting there though.

Hope every one has a nice sunny day - still sunny where I am - just!!

    Morning all
Having another lazy day today before returning to the hospital at 8pm tonight. Have tried to put everything I need to go back with me on the bed ready to be packed when DH gets back from work. Unfortunately he has been at work all weekend so haven't seen much of him, but at least I get to snuggle up to him in bed for the last two nights:rotfl: .
It is still vey sunny here but not quite so warm as the last few days. But we could definitely do with some rain as everywhere is so dry. Have just been watching some beautiful butterflies on the buddleia outside the patio window.
I really don't want to go back to the hospital today, I know its for my own good but I really hate it & want to be back at home with DH
I phoned the care home this morning to see how Mom is getting on, they said she was quite content but that they couldn't get her to eat anything & she would only take a small amount of fluids. She seems to be fading before our eyes & it is very tough seeing her like this.
Anyway :grouphug: to all who need them & I hope to be back on here next weekend if everything goes to plan.
Love to save & love a bargain

    Hi all,

Scruffy :grouphug: for you and your mum and Ihope everything goes well at the hospital.

Had a day out yesterday, DD and B/F are here for the weekend as is Ds's G/F so we took a picnic and went punting on the Cam. OH is an expert punter but DD's B?F tried and was within an inch of being swept off the punt:eek: . I very sensibly sit there and try to look romantic:D .

Not v OS last night tho' as DD wanted Chinese so we had takeout.

Will have a quiet day today, have to get ironing done for work etc.

    morning..

Feeling really ugh today! Was meant to be moving in with OH this weekend.... didnt hire a van as we HAD to replace the van with an estate car this week (OH hasnt been able to work as van in broken beyond fixing).... so thought "whats the point when everything will fit in the car?".. tickety boo!.... UNTIL we got to the dealership to pick the car up yesterday and the guy says "i just rang you.. sorry.. theres been a problem... we just valetted and washed the car... and weve got water in the engine bay and the cars lost its spark! So we need to replace the coil (thingy majiggy) but my mechanic isnt in till monday.. so you cant have it till then... you can have ur deposit back though if you want?" Well not only were we devastated.. but getting the deposit back wasnt an option as id just paid out to insure the damn car!!! And we havent been able to find another car thats good enough for that price!! Totally thrown the whole weekend as i cant move house now.... but my computer and TV at least need to be in OHs house tomorrow for telewest to install my bb and tv and they are switching off the supply to here! My dad can move them in the car..... BUT we dont have a fridge freezer or cooker in OHs... so cant eat there.... but cant watch tv here!! Also need to get everything out by 16th at the latest... and were both working all week so only got the weekends... So to say im stressed and fed up is an understatment...

Add to that the fact im sooooooooooooo nervous about my new job i start tomorrow. Never worked in an office before and dont have a clue about what the job entails! Sooooo worried :o

OSing for today is cleaning the house and trying and do some packing. :rotfl: Havent done much at all.. cos was only gonna move essentials this weekend... spend next weekend moving non essentials and weekend after giving the place a good cleaning so i can get my full deposit back! but that plan is out the window....

Making a big roast tonight too... was meant to be our first roast in OHs but alas thats pooped...

God im sooo fed up.

    Hello.

A late start for me this morning. Me and DH were at my parents till 8:30 last night, which was nice, but meant late tea, and then we watched a DVD so late to bed.

So consequently a lovely lie in this morning, but we will now be busy all day.

Dh has made us scrambled egg on toast for brekkie, washed up, and been doing some Diy involving drilling big holes through the wall to the outside to sort out the aerial. He has now gone back to B and Q, so i'm taking chance to catch up on here. He's planning on stripping wallpaper from the ceiling when he gets back.

I've cleaned the kitchen, and stuck the BM on. I could do with stripping the bed and getting that washed, I think i will do some ironing, and perhaps try to do a deep clean of the bathroom today. DH will think i am cleaning up after him, and i suppose i can help. Something quick and junkie for tea i think, like burgers waffles and beans.

Take care scruffy. It's nice being able to be back at home for the weekend at least.

Kiwi - sorry you've had to miss the christening.

johanne - you will get there but it might just take a bit longer. Good luck for monday

jockett - good luck with the rest of the packing,

    Michelle, xx
