Aw bless, that sounds lovely!
Morning everyone!
Lovely and cool here now the rain has finally arrived. We managed a quick brekkie of pancakes in the garden yesterday morn before the heavens opened. We spent the afternoon/eve at the festival browsing all the wonderfull stalls. Lots of craft stalls with people doing demos, and some plant stalls. Bought some more herbs for the new 'patch' of land - even got a 'bay' for £1.20.
Also found a stall that had maps/leaflets of some local walks with bits to make it more interesting for kiddies so will give some a try - at least it's a free way to do stuff with my boys.
I think the boys favourite bit was the 'medieval' display - lots dressed up in various old armour who then went on to do a 'battle'. It was good as instead of just 'lecturing' they also gave a storyline and made everyone laugh - esp when they went 'round to check who was 'alive' by proding the 'vulnerable' bits with swordsAll of this takes place on the bank of an old castle - it kinda gives you goose bumps!
Well, sun is now shining again and the plan is to return to the festival today.
DS1 is out on his paper round, DS2 at the bands house and DS3 is fast asleep in bed. If I'm quick I might just manage to catch up on the past few days threads!
Best wishes to all,

Morning Everyone
Just posting before I read the thread as DD is bound to get me waylayed some how. Hugs to anybody who needs them.
The flaming cat brought another bird in this morning so the whole house was awake at 7am.
Got a christening to go to later and then off to in-law to see if the decking has been finished, both me and DH nearly murdered someone yesterday so hes using the christening as an excuss not to go and help them finish off. I think hes done more than his share as he appears to be the only on who didnt have to stop for regular beer breaks  . Real sensible my FIL always a good idea to mix alcohol and power tools  (not).
Apart from that I need to go to Tesco when it opens and pick up some milk. Iron work clothes for week and sort out what DD is going to take to Grandmas for her meals this week that nice and easy as it all done in the freezer.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Planning a nice lazy day today, did lots of cleaning yesterday, and then went to a friends for tea, which was lovely. I still need to sort out all our clothes, so i think once im dressed, i might stay up there and get that done (if i can get myself off MSE!!!!) Have already stripped my bed, and its all in the WM, the forecast is nice today, rain tomorrow, so hoping to get all the washing done today before the rain returns!!!!
Right, going to have a quick surf, and then (hopefully) get on with some sorting out!
Hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
