Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all. :hello:

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I've burt my fingers on a hot hob :o I was making pasta in cheese sauce but put too much milk in  so I moved the pan of pasta off the hob to drain so I could make up more roux in the pan and for some reason I put my hand out and touched the hot ceramic hob ring with my 3 middle-fingers on my left hand :confused: Thankfully I managed to swear quietly enough for DD not to hear me and I had my hand in cold water within 10 seconds of realising that I was burning my hand but now I'm in quite a bit of pain and having to do everything one handed :o:rolleyes: Its not serious, infact apart from the dryskin and ring pattern from the hob you cant tell I've done any damange at all. Its just the heat and pain when it comes into contact with things :eek::eek::eek: My first aid training came in useful, and I double checked with MIL (she's a nurse ;) ) that what I thought I should do was right.

I have no idea whats up with me tonight but I'm uncharacteristically clumsy
:confused: Oh well. I need to go and check out something to do with Henry VIII that DD came out with as I have no idea whether she is right or not :o Google here I come :o:rotfl:Later

 umm, well, you see, I went to Tesco and for the first time ever they had some 'proper' special offers (sausage rolls from £2 to 5p, and cheese from £4 to 21p etc) so I kinda got sidetracked....
I WILL plant them tomorrow. I did try to rope DS3 into it while I typed my earlier post but he wanted to go out to play. Doesn't he realise there are more important things in life... at least my posting on here is ESSENTIAL :p

Lisa (aka Mrs Harket)- don't know if you'll read this or not as I can see you've logged out. I just wanted to wish you all the best for your appointment. A good councellor is worth a hundred packs of prozac - but don't be in a rush to come off them, and only do it under medical 'supervision'. I'm not a lover of popping (oops - had to retype as put a double 'o' instead of a double 'p' :o ) pills, but if you were a diabetic would you be desperate to do away with your insulin? For some it's a 'chemical' thing, and there's no shame in that. A friend of mine has come off hers of her own accord and everyone is wishing secretly that she'd go back on them! Love her to bits really, but she is so much happier (and easier to get on with) when she's taking her prozac - as am I :rotfl:
    Best wishes

    Morning Guys!!

Have been to bed and got 4hrs sleep but have woken up because its too stuffy:rolleyes: ...dont want to keep fidgeting (sp) in bed or will wake OH and he'll be in an bad mood all day.

Beds need stripping by DD/OH this morning as the cleaner is due and the DW needs emptying. Cleaner will do the rest:D

Hoping we dont need to go out anywhere but Waitrose later for abit of shopping as we have about £30 of vouchers/coupons to use. Will do 2 shops for about £15 each then use £7.50 in vouchers-so a £30 shop will cost £15;) and that should last through to the holiday away and may even get a few bits for it.

Must crack on with my essay over the weekend as I have a deadline for next Wednesday and also need to complete my DLA forms and get them sent in ASAP. Have managed to get supporting letters from GP, OT and a social worker. They have covered that I have care daily, help with domestic stuff, a stairlift, new walk in shower going in, a blue disabled badge, use a wheelchair and that hubby is my full-time carer. Think that pretty much covers everything...GP has stated that my condition is not going to improve too which reading on paper was abit gutting:eek:   ....am also going to scan a couple of other bits I have to support the claim like receipt from my council for the stairlift, letter from new bathroom fitters and a copy of my blue badge. Probably wont want it but thought it will all help! Fingers x'd for me. The extra money will come in handy for us to buy a mobility scooter that I desperatly need and for other things related with my disabilites:o

Also am trying to help SIL claim bck her £2500 in fees back through the Woolwich. Need to check and see what the next step is and try and get that off before going on holiday next week.

Will be looking up for my holiday over the next few days and seeing what places there are to visit and any discount vouchers for carers etc...worth a try:confused:

Anyway, Im rambling so will get off and decide whether Im going to try bed again or just get on with something as my brain seems to functioning well ATM.

Breakie: Honey Nut Shredies with warm milk
    Lunch: Soup or Roll
Dinner: Lamb Cutlets, New Potatoes, Carrots and peas

Will post again later. HUgs to all

BargainRzl-Hope you get some news today!!

Morning PP and all who follow

Only had four hours sleep last night. Sis came round and she's being screwed around over her house move. She's been told she's got to find a LOT of extra money to finalise, so she's asked me to help out. Going to check resources later to see how much I can get hold of for her.

Nan seemed quite perky when I left at 5 this morning, which is a positive sign. She seems more willing to live again now after being very depressed after going into hospital a few weeks back

Thankfully I have tomorrow off, but have to work Sunday, but at least next week I start later

Never got round to checking the raspberries last night, so must do that this evening.

Hope everyone's ok and hugs if you need them

Morning PP and Scuzz and all that follow

Slept like a log last night but still feel tired this morning, had to drive to Margate yesterday I find that the drive there is the worse drive ever and makes me knackered. Made up with OH last night, we never spoke all day yesterday, we usually call each other to check everything is ok but I was not going to budge this time, when I got home he had tried his best to clear up a little which meant a lot to me even having a little go.
The saga continues with the HA, had a reply from e-mail I sent them telling me that I should contact the local council as it is not their problem or their land:mad:   I am so  . For one the land is owned by the HA, I double checked this yesterday with the council, and why is it that we have letters from the HA telling my OH do not park on our land and it all stems back from neighbours complaining about him unloading the shopping as he couldnt cope:mad: The HA bloke is back tracking himself and tying himself in knots as far as I can see.
PP I picked up some Sussex summer attraction leaflets for you yesterday, I am more than happy to send them to you or mail you some ideas of days out? Thought it might help you.
Scuzz Do you work for the radio station? I generally listen to spirit or southern fm.

I am off to have a browse round here for a while before popping in the shower

    Morning All

Slept ok last night then woke up at 6am having a horrible dream about Social Services taking DD away  . Have no idea where that came but its really shaken me up. I've been in to check and shes tucked up in her cot fast asleep but I couldnt get back to sleep so I got up and made a start on the day.

WM is on and load from last night is pegged out. Need to get some mince out of the freezer in a minute to make burgers for tea. Other than that we are going for a swim this morning with SIL and her kids then its back here to do my Fly lady house blessing for the weekend.

    Have a good day everyone

    I'll check back later

Morning PP, Scuzz, ageandjo and everyone else x

Not sure what happened then, was typing away and it all dissapeared!!!! Never mind, will try again!!!!!

A quiet day for me today, just one little one so we are going into Plymouth to do some shopping. Not going to be getting much as my CC took a bashing this month, so need to wait until next week before buying anything much so i dont have to pay until September!!! That includes new bedding for DS, he has some girly bedding at the moment on his new bed, but im sure he will manage for another week!!!!
Started trying an eye cream yesterday for a testing company, but its been making my eyes really sore, so not using it today, and will see if i can report my results now so they know.
Sure i have loads more to do, but my mind really isnt working yet!!!

Rzl - hope you find out about the flat today (hope your HA arnt as bad as ageandjos!!!!)

ageandjo - sounds like you have a lot of info you could send to the HA, maybe get it all together, and write a really polite letter, explaining your problems, the fact you have a letter from them saying one thing, and now another saying another, and ask what you should do!!!! Maybe send a copy to the council, see if they can be any help as well??

Nikki - hope DD is feeling less itchy today!!!!

Cant think anymore now, think i need another cuppa!!!! Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
