Hi all - only scanned the posts briefly this evening and not been able to read yesterdays I'm afraid - so hugs to everyone who needs.
Thanks for you concern Churchmouse - after my post yesterday I took 2 ibuprofen & had some h/m bread & cuppa, but headache didn't shift. It quickly turned into one of my 'funny spells' where everything seems to spin as though I've had too much to drink!!! It really is like a hangover, though I've not touched a drop in months. First time it happened me and the ex H were still living together but marriage was over - I was so ill I thought he'd drugged me! lol.
The only way to deal with it is to lie as still as possible - I suppose it's similar to a migraine, but fortunately without the pain, just the nausea and gidiness.
Normal service now resumed
Best wishes

Lol, don't be daft ! It was nice of you to ask. I don't often get like that - and I rarely get headaches, so am a bit of a wuss when I do.
Did really miss MSE tho!
Got blood tests in the morning (only boring glucose ones - was supposed to be done last week) so I'm not allowed anything to eat nor drink since 6 o'clock - it's driving me mad! 'Caught' myself eating an apple half hour ago.... Think I'd best go a nd 'chill' in front of the goole box in the hope it'll distract me from my need to have a cuppa!January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far

Oh and by the way Kaz, I will soon be able to make welshcakes in my sleep!! DH hasn't stopped eating them!!:rotfl: Soon as I make them, he eats them. Tried doing double batch, they DID NOT last twice as long! Last night I made some at 8 pm. At 9 pm he says are you making some more? In his dreams! He and DS had eaten all but two which I confiscated until today!!:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0

Night ageandjo...and all to follow.
Since having such a good nights sleep last night, I'm just not tired tonight.
Ended up with 5 kids here after school to have a go in DD's pool....then another 2 arrived as if by magic...between the 7 of them they managed to make enough waves to collapse the pool - but they had so much fun I could hardly complain - so nice to see them enjoy themselves and all in such a safe way (made sure all their parents knew they were here and safe).
Had parents evening at school this evening - all went well and I felt a little sad that DD1 is going into her last year of primary - where did that time go.
DH has fallen asleep on the sofa so should go make moves to bed....hope you've all had a lovely day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Morning all
I've never started the daily thread before
Woke up at 2.15am, mr troo snoring and master troo's tv was blaring
I'm starving and on my second bowl of rice krispies. The washer's on, DW to go on in a mo. Might do some ironing before everyone gets up. Maybe
Need some more wholemeal bread so I'll dust off the breadmaker - I haven't used it for about a month
Hugs to those who need them

I'm still watching the sale on game.co.uk, this hours will be my last before 2 hours of sleep, but I'm sure it's worth it....
OH is tucked in bed, looking forward to getting there, even if it is only brief.
