Morning all! Had to skip to the end and not read all the posts as they were making me hungry - and I can't eat until after my blood tests.

Twink - I bet the first thing you do when you get in will be have a cup of tea - I know I will!!! Hope everything went ok for you.

Churchmouse - I'm planning on making a 4 x batch today. Was going to make them yesterday, but in view of my weak willpower I thought I'd best not! They are totally scrummy aren't they? Glad your lot like them - at least you get a few moments peaces while they are munching.
You could always try telling your OH that traditionally it is the men that make them and they taste even better that way? No? Didn't think so, but worth a thought :D

Ok, best dash as have to be up the hospital within half hour!

Best wishes to all, and lots of hugs

Good morning:hello: Getting hot already so better make this quick. Well as quick as a two finger typist can be!!:rotfl:

Ageandjo glad you're feeling better today, with that workload you'll need to!

Manicdays enjoy Chessington! Mine used to love it. When my eldest was a baby it was just a zoo with a couple of side shows. How things change!

Jockettuk Well those days are ticking down! Why is it that as soon as you need to run the freezer down you don't fancy anything in there? Happens everytime!

Chipps 36_22_12.gif Congratulations!! Enjoy your meal tonight! No cooking, lovely!:D

Kaz and twink hope blood tests go on time and you can get home quick for some food and drink!! Imagine there will be plenty of rumbling tums in the waiting room!!:D

Kiwichick you don't think that maybe you are being a little ambitious with that list?:rotfl: Especially as you planned another half hour's browsing:rotfl: :rotfl: Don't kill yourself, none of it is going anywhere :D

To all who post after me, (and probably the half dozen who've posted while I type!!) have a great day and (((Hugs))) if you need one.

I'm off to do some shade gardening! I'll evade the sun by working only those parts currently in the shade, trouble is the shade will be gone for a few hours completely in the middle of the day. I'm only cutting back to try to tidy it up a bit. It would take a pneumatic drill to get through the soil!!:rotfl:

Shows how slow I am, site had logged me out by the time I wanted to post!
Thank goodness it hadn't lost the post!:T

You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

    (((((((((((((((scuzz)))))))))))))))

Congratulations Chipps - how on earth did you manage that without killing each other??

Hugs to everyone else whether needed or not.

The heat is getting to me already, DD didn't get a bath last night as she and daddy headed into the pool so I am going to bath her then maybe climb in after her. I have to study the list to find out what DS needs to take with him on Saturday as we are out tomorrow and Thursday and I have to take the parents shopping again on Friday. I will wash and dry his sleeping bag tomorrow. I'm still not happy about the rifle shooting but he really wants to do it but if I say yes and there is an accident I will never forgive myself.

DH is in bed all day, work tonight, so I will get on and mop the kitchen floor I think.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    - Mobiles are very resilient little things - I dropped mine 20ft onto yorkstone floor at least 2-3 times, dropped it in a 5 litre tin of paint and then had to wash it off under a running tap and it still worked :o;)

    Chipps - Happy anniversary!

Woke up at 7.15 today wide awake. So I came down and put a load of washing on (bedding I left in the machine overnight :o ) and I've just put cleaning cloths in with some stardrops on a rinse to clean the grease out of them before I put them through on a proper pre-wash cycle with the towels which takes about 2 hours :o I did nothing yesterday..until OH came in and we both started watching Grand Designs. It was only then, when I wasn't on the computer, that I noticed how untidy the livingroom was so I ended up tidying up  You can definetly tell the difference this morning. Going to tackle the washing up when I've finished this post. There's a couple of things there from at least Friday that OH didn't wash up on Saturday morning :o

Today I'm setting too on my "rudolph day" (see organizedchristmas for what it means ;) ). I'm "not allowed" to mention Xmas before November 16th officially (SIL's birthday  ) but I always start doing sneaky Xmas stuff in July when QVC starts and from now on I'm on the look out for gifts ;) The budget is sorted, I've got LOADS of wrapping paper, cards and a couple of pressies for DD. I've put a cardboard box under our bed and told DD that its a magic box where Santa collects the stuff he's asked to pick up since I'm the "family elf" so she's not allowed in there. I've also told her that Santa is not allowed to make things with Disney characters on so I have to go to the shops and buy them things for him :rotfl: Its worked every year so far, so just hoping curiosity doesn't get the better of her this year! Infact I might go and put the pressies in a giftbag and staple it shut instead of it just being in the box in a carrier bag ;)

Right, better go and do the dishes. Later

Well, if I bumped him off I'd have to go out to w**k......!!!

tootles: our DD has organised everyone to do the food for Saturday, I'm not allowed to do anything! (except get the place clean - and how long that will last between DD & family arriving and everyone else, I don't know! She always comes in and covers every part of the house with her own clutter!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love having them come to stay and hate it when they go home, but when she does leave I console myself with the thought of not having to trip over clutter or find all the towels in a wet heap in her room!!!!!)

Ajax 18 : have a lovely time with your sister

    Morning all,

I have not read all your posts i am going to save that for when i have a cup of tea later.

Not enjoying the holidays we are 2 days in and i have had enough.

My children are doing nothing but fight and mone. only 5 weeks 4 days left:mad:

All i seem to be doing is shout:eek:

DD has a art course this afternoon and the way she is going she is not going to make it as she will be in her bedroom. 3 hours without her though seem really enjoyable.

DS and i are going to go shopping for doctor who bits while dd is doing her art. I have warned him it might be hard to find them but have you tried telling a 4 year old who has his mind set on something.

    Anyhow they are fighing again:mad:

    Catch you all laters bye
